I love it when the engine is way to big for a given car. Keep up the good work.

Try and answer all questions at once I built a 727 torqueflite auto that I put a full manual valve body in because of the torque the engine makes so it won’t fry clutches, so it will have full line pressure at idle, because the diff ratio is1.84 and tyre height is 34 inch’s it will only be reving very low about 900 rpm to do our speed limit 60 mph,top speed will be high. It will be special club permit reg and I will be driving to work most days weather permitting so it must be reliable, the little cycle car next to Rolls I’ve been fixing up for a customer vtwin precision engine of 1000 cc 1913 Merlin 1 of 2 left...

Modified sum Hartford friction shocks to suit it didn’t have the original hydrolic knee action shocks and I don’t like the look of them anyway so decision was Hartford, the rear had nothing there at all when I bought the chassis it’s meant to have knee and Hartford didn’t like Hartford’s on the rear because they look to floppy and out in the open, so went telescopic inboard looks neat and once painted black won’t be noticeable, made 2 inch lowering blocks for rear leafs to drop the back down..

Made seat frame covered in black second hand leather to look 30s, one of mates runs a trimming shop, and retrimmed a 50s Mercedes roadster, we kept the old leather and he trimmed the rolls seat for me..

Back of the car still have to do some more panel work, tank made with magnetic fuel gauge 110 litres capacity should do about 5 mile to the gallon, fuel is still the cheapest part of the project I don’t care how much it cost, wouldn’t be building 1650 cube car for economy, picked up the tail light of an old mate who just passed on..
