There’s a very low mileage ‘695 biposto record’ for sale in this months Classic and Sportscar and if they’re as good as Pete says (which I’m sure they are) £25k seem v good.
I'm guessing it doesn't have the £8500 dog 'box option on it though which is the real party piece.Pommy said:
Pete - fancy a 1700 mile 695 Biposto in the right spec for £43k?
Just need to ship it from Australia...

Had the pleasure of seeing this Lusso on two occasions whilst taking my Vantage for a spin last weekend! It looks stunning in the photos but even better in real life! Certainly one of the most beautiful cars in existence!
Paul.
Fairly sure this is the very same car i used to see regularly when it was in the Ferrari specialist that was next door to our office at Dunsfold park. Track focussed car from memory and an utterly gorgeous noise. Though i was spoilt with Mustang racers on the other side and Mclaren when they were developing the first 12C road car.Paul.

Pete. I follow you on Instagram, thanks for the pics. Putting your mates dog on the roof of your Aston made me laugh when they were aholes with you.
Is your Instagram same handle as your username? Would definitely be interested in following you on there too2manycars said:

What's your dream car Pete? (it might not have ever been built).
Background to this question is that you now seem to have all the real cars!
Im saving my dream car for my 40th birthday. It’ll be a present to myself. A 1960 Ferrari 250 gt swb competizione in rhd. I reckon in another 4 years they’ll be about £15m, so I better get saving haha. Background to this question is that you now seem to have all the real cars!
I’ve not had anything as bad as you, but did nearly die on an operating table, it tends to change your thinking.
Was watching Harry Metcalfe's most recent upload where he talks about his fleet insurance. Always wondered how it worked with large collections. He pays £5000 odd for around 20 cars and 15 bikes, which seems quite reasonable to me. Although the Zonda was £7500 on its own and the reason he sold it and his Project 8 adds over £1000 to the policy.
I'm guessing as your collection has quite a lot of newer stuff they're not quite so generous with the premium?

Bit of a trek though...I bet it was the same car - there can’t be that many of them in the uk - the last one I saw was on a visit to the Ferrari factory in 2007.
On the subject of the 12c - that is still my favourite ‘’modern’ McLaren - I think they got the design and styling just right, plenty of class and not too fussy like today’s designs!
