Fair play, understandable with the family side of things. I've just had my 2nd so I fully appreciate what it's like prior and more importantly after that happens.
This is a case of how things a read and understood which would be different than having a face to face conversation on the same subject.
Had it read, "I'm getting a Bugatti Chiron but presently I'm too busy to go spec it out" then perhaps I wouldn't have thought twice, but instead I read "I'm getting a Bugatti Chiron but I can't be bothered with the ball ache of going to spec it out"
Same thing admittedly, but it's the perception (to me) that prompted the comment.
Each to their own and all that.
Why are you still talking? Just enjoy the thread ffs. This is a case of how things a read and understood which would be different than having a face to face conversation on the same subject.

Enjoy that blast out Pete. Used to live in Alty and loved those roads put towards Tatton Park and Jodrell Bank. There's not much better on a Sunday at this time of year when the weather is great and you can just blast out on the countryside.

Jesus! I'm responding to the guy, is there such a big deal and am I not allowed to do that? Lots of internet warriors around. I simply made a point and further explained my reasons to the guy, it's not aggressive towards him. I've contributed to this thread and previous ones (completely on topic as a fellow follower of cars). Wind your neck in!

Ok everyone let’s calm. Let’s not ruin another good thread. Enjoy that blast out Pete. Used to live in Alty and loved those roads put towards Tatton Park and Jodrell Bank. fk it, yes I could have said I’m too busy at the moment but I presume that everyone on here already knows that.
Not my intention to offend anyone on here that would give their left goose egg to fly to France to spec a Bugatti, I guess it’s a pretty big deal.
I think everything is just perspective though, to me this isn’t a big deal. My daughters first day at school was though, even for those brief 10 minutes of seeing her walk through the gates.
Let’s just all get back on track (Pista) hey.

I jumped Ashley bridge and when I landed I smashed the near side wheel bearing and a top arm.
If so, how did you manage that ?
I hit it about 58mph and came off all wheels, I’ve done it in loads of other cars but none as old as that. It was bloody good fun but painful at the same time.

You are one of them - you came onto a thread about a specific person telling him what he should and shouldn't post. What a big keyboard warrior you are. Somewhat predictably, you have been placed firmly back in your box.Enjoy that blast out Pete. Used to live in Alty and loved those roads put towards Tatton Park and Jodrell Bank. Pete kindly responded, and I did likewise.... that's it.
Your response however, is one that takes the tone somewhere else, and you resort to petty comments from the off. Why don't you say, "I disagree with what you're saying MTK1919, because clearly Pete is busy with XYZ" It really is that simple, and you know what..... I would have probably understood and moved on.
Pete, apologies for the thread hacking but I'm going to say my peace to these guys who can't deal with somone speaking their mind, and then explaining it too.

I’m waiting for Bentley Knutsford to put in their Bugatti showroom then I can spec my car properly, after that (and this will really piss you off) Bugatti will fly me over to their factory on their private jet to take one out for a drive, plus they’ll take you out in some classic 1930’s Bugatti’s.
I know a few people who had this done for them who hadn't ordered a car or bought a veyron, they are the masters of customer service!are you going to buy a supersport?

No, I’m just getting a normal one but it will be black with Hermes orange leather. So it’ll look very similar. 2manycars said:

I suppose its all a question of perspective, speccing a Chiron would be high on most of our agendas as a fun thing to do, but like anything in life, once you have done it a few times it loses its novelty.
Sometimes I just like to be at home, got back off a holiday we paid a lot of money for and set to re felting the roof on one of my sheds, happy as a pig in st, sun was shining, had a brew and the radio on, made a nice job of it, went in, had a few beers and a curry, perfect day for me.
I expect Pete is used to being schmoozed, entertained and looked after, thats part of buying something expensive, part of the price you are paying and fantastic if you are new to it but I can totally see how it could be a chore when you would rather be at home with your family.
At the complete other end of the scale, I fancy an MX5 but really cant be bothered traipsing round looking at various old nails with a torch and a soon to be very disappointed magnet.
Wonder if they can fly someone to you ? depends whether you want the private jet treatment ?
