Fiat 695 Biposto, easy choice.
I hoped you'd say that. By the way Pete, what's the mileage on your car please ? (for the record in the register I'm compiling); also do your know which Ferrari dealership it was originally assigned to ?

I’ve also got my money down and orders in for two 812 GTS’, one for me and one for my brother.
Pete, if you have to "reserve" a place on the list for a new Ferrari by buying a few others, how does it work when you say "I want two of those" on a limited production run?

Sounds like you did that with the Pista and the 812GTS.

Do they think that if you are good for one, you'll be OK for the other or do they need a note from your Mrs which says you've been a very good boy this week and deserve a treat!!

Also, I must admit to nearly choking on my beer when I read that the stripe on the Pista was in the region of £7K.

Now I've seen it though, money well spent - that's the dog's bks!!

That Pista is indeed very lovely!

Did you ever get around buying a Noble M600? If yes, how do you like it? If no, why not?
Spanks, and no I never did as too many other nicer cars have come across my path.

New Pista looks great in White with blue stripe. Works very well indeed. Also good to see a pic of it on the road too.
Cheers Andy

My mum normally writes a note saying that I’m not the messiah and that I’m a naughty boy.

Erm I don’t really know to be honest, I just kind of became a really big customer of theirs and I don’t think they want to disappoint me, so they say yes to some ludicrous requests.

You shouldn’t deepthroat your beer bottle then!! laugh
Yeah it’s expensive but Ferrari know how to do stripes and they know they can charge what they want for it.
They’ll be increasing their prices for the stripe on the 812 GTS to around £11k.

Yeah I’m actually surprised with how much positive attention the car has already gained world wide so far. So much so that an NBA player requested to follow me on Instagram because he saw my car on @488.Pista

No as I don’t see the point, the range of standard options they offer is so vast anyway that there’s no need.

You were talking about getting a roller before Pete, how do they compare to your other cars are they the ultimate in transport or just a little bit nicer than say a top spec Bentley/merc or whatever?

I’ve had a few Rollers now and they are just brilliant. Better than the rivals, I can’t explain how good they actually are. They just make you feel breezey when you arrive at your destination if that makes sense.

Pete, forgive me of my ignorance on such things but I was curious as to how financing a Singer would work? Is it the same as doing it for a Ferrari? I imagine it might be a trickier proposition as there are so few Singers and Ferraris are much easier to value I would guess? I was surprised at how low the deposit was on the Ferrari, I would have thought it would have needed to be at least 10%. Interesting stuff!

I'm ready to be corrected on this, but Singers are a very different proposition. You need to buy a RHD car over here (though they can do that), then it gets shipped to LA, they do all the work which you pay for, then it gets shipped back and you have to pay import duty on the value of the work they've done. Might be different now they have a UK base for the DLS stuff.
