I'm ready to be corrected on this, but Singers are a very different proposition. You need to buy a RHD car over here (though they can do that), then it gets shipped to LA, they do all the work which you pay for, then it gets shipped back and you have to pay import duty on the value of the work they've done. Might be different now they have a UK base for the DLS stuff.
Thanks for the insight. So no option to finance then? Buy the car outright, pay for their services in doing the conversion (of sorts, you know what I mean), then import the car back over? Interesting stuff. Quite funny really, I mean both the Ferrari and the Singer are a world away from your average car purchase, but then they are worlds apart between themselves. Glad I asked the question!

So to bring it back on track I’ve got 3 things to add to spice up the thread.

1) Just had my bill for my white Pista, £357,312.80 (fking ouch!!!)

2) Looking at buying another family car for me because of the second addition just in case the wife is out in hers and I need to pick the sproggs. So was looking at either a G63 AMG, S65 AMG, RR Ghost or RS6 Avant. Can anyone make a poll or survey or some st like that to see what people on here think I should get.

3) After listening to the last lot of recommendations about classics/restomods I’ve decided I’m going to go for a Bill Shepard Mustang ‘Bullitt’ Fastback in Highland Green with a 700bhp Demon crate motor and a 6 speed manual. So thanks for the private message dude, you know who you are bow
Family car you say ? whistle

No she’s my partner, it’s a PR dream. A company check will still show me as main shareholder

it linked to an article showing the launch of the restaurant

Chantelle says: “It will be an extension of all of our personalities - elegant, confident and vibrant!"

Which one are you Pete?

Parea menu looks alright. Will give it a go in a few weeks when in the Edge in place of piccolinos.

Congratulations on the new arrival. Let’s hope the good lady chooses the perambulator otherwise it will have £7k stripes and blue carbon fibre adornments.

Congrats on the bambino mate, I haven’t been keeping up with the thread too much but have seen on Instagram some of the comings and goings... I see you say that you are after a new family car, I would be tempted to add an E63 estate to that list as well as the RS6, there’s one near me and it sounds awesome

Going back a few threads. I’ve always REALLY liked the Yeti too.
Very nearly bought one as the run outs were offered with 0% apr meaning you borrow the money for FREE for 3 years then buy it and residuals were much better than the balloon.

Caved in and bought a Tiguan R line. Barely use it as it’s not got a 4.2 v8 with a gear lever like my B7 family wagon. Still like it though. For pootling about when not driving my fun stuff.

Anyway, a yeti with a belting engine would be an awesome choice Pete. Give that a crack as would be so keen to see it!

Watching 5th Gear last night & wondered if you’d be interested in something like the David Brown Mini Pete?

Financially probably a bad idea but seeing as you love your little Fiat so much?

Sorry, forgot to say congrats on the new arrival!

Congratulations, though I just imagined you picking the baby up from Hospital and being a little freaked out that a bloke in a sharp suit didn't pull a cover off the cot and hand you a key biggrin
