Nice. Can't say I'm a fan of the looks but I'm sure it'll be as good as any of the other 10 models they bring out in 2020 lol.
Sure it's been mentioned but have you got the SP yet?
Yeah I’ve ordered the SF90 Stradale with the Assetto Fiorano handling pack. Already bought the plate for that one too. AS53TTO. Sure it's been mentioned but have you got the SP yet?
So the only cars they are bringing out in 2020 are the SF90, 812 GTS and this Roma.
The reason for the new cars lately are to replace their current line and it’s only 2 cars to be honest.
F8 Tributo and Spider replace the 488 GTB & Spider
Roma will most definitely be replacing the Portofino as no one wants one (even though they are a great car).
And the SF90 is to benchmark for the next F car.

Funny you say that. I have had the og california, currently the cali t and have done around 500 miles in the portofino and it's awesome and better than the cali t in every way yet the reception it has gotten is dire. I've been tracking them on AT and ones that were for sale from ferrari at £200k are now £165k but not selling.
I personally think £150k is the sweet spot for them.
Would be interested to know about the 488 spider/portofino prices you've had as px or a guide you've been given? (unless of course you get gold stickers for part exchanging with them)

You're replacing x with x no?You telling me by replacing you just mean the 'replaced' cars just don't get used anymore?

Whats the schedule to see the Roma? will it be a full "launch" event or just a cold buffet in a dusty meeting room in the factory?
Have you seen the new Elva? I know you have been unimpressed with a few Mac's, but i wondered whether the limited run nature of this one may fit your purchase profile?

personally i love the looks, made me think of the Ferrari Monza SP a bit - would make a nice pair in the garage...

I know someone else who was interested, said at £1.4m & 399 projected, it's nowhere near limited enough. McLaren don't have a stellar record of value retention nowadays (sadly)....trackdemon said:

It'll be a long time before McLaren can charge that sort of money for it and people will know it won't st itself within a year.Look at the value of a P1 against the LaFerrari, pretty much half.
