I think I slightly annoyed you by repeatedly asking about the "lost" 250 in the previous thread but seeing as it's been found ,how far

along is the resto now ?....smile
Gawd no you didn’t annoy me, I’m not doing the resto anymore. I’m thinking about turning it into a bit of a climbing frame for the local kiddies. If I get the permission from Cheshire council that is.

M2 CSL Pete ? You think it will come ? Been twitching over a Competition myself lately.
I’m pretty sure it WILL come, just when I guess.

I'm also glad you are back, I did enjoy reading your thoughts, and of course the pics!

I believe my friend, Chris, did the handover of your Senna to you.
He did yes, just not took delivery yet as it’s going for full PPF treatment at Topaz detailing. Small world hey.

Yes have known Chris a long time and worked with him a few times, a good guy.
Enjoy the car!
Also, congrats on getting a F430 Scud, one of my very favourite cars.
I forget sometimes how many people you know in the industry. He is a good guy.
Yeah the Speciale really shows how much Ferrari has come on in the past 7-8 years, but the Scud is a great car. A bit slow for today’s modern supercars but that’s just technology I guess. Definitely more track focused than road friendly. That noise though!!!!

You really should update your garage, then you can play top trumps with other members laugh good to see you back. Any plans for car charity events next year?
I’ll get round to it one day I’m sure but I’m just happy for anyone that gets enjoyment out of their car. My favourite car is my cheapest which I’m sure most people would overlook in their Top Trumps line up. Shame really.

I’m thinking about getting a big section at Goodwood in a few years when my DLS turns up. That’d be nice.

That’s a pretty darn fine thing to do...much satisfaction from upsetting greedy people too I bet smile

Looking forward to seeing more of the Zagato...and everything else too biggrin
It’s getting dropped off on Tuesday from having it’s PPF treatment from Topaz so I’ll get some shots of that being dropped off and the TDF being loaded on for its PPF.
I have a rotation system in place with them, they’re just that good.

Are you still talking to the friend who scuffed your wheels?

Haha you mean on my 675lt? If so, yeah he was at my wedding. It’s only an alloy, not worth the decades of friendship.

Pete - I think you can see from the number of posts since 2pm today how popular you are (and for all the right reasons!). I loved the LFA thread but agree it got a bit weird. Glad you are back and I can continue to try to fathom how your car buying mind works!!

Personally - can't wait for the Singer Williams - car of the show at the Festival of Speed for me. Don't think you like E-Types but if you did I think you need an Eagle Spyder GT in your collection too. And what about an original Shelby Cobra 427 SC?! Ah, problems problems!!
How my car buying mind works??Hmmm. That is a strange one. I guess I just buy what I like.
I keep trying to get a Skoda Yeti on the drive as a dog wagon but the wife isn’t having any of it, the snob haha.
I’m not one for E-types and the 427 is a SCARY handling car so that’s a no from me.

I could criticise you for how easily you sulked off at some idiots comments, but you may flounce off again biggrin Hope you are back for good this time!
It wasn’t that I sulked off, I’m not made like that. Just couldn’t be bothered with the aggro from people getting pissy that I had all these cars. I just found it weird considering it’s a car forum. So yeah, I’ll be sticking around, as long as it doesn’t get weird again haha

Great to see you posting again Pete! Quick question if I may. Are some of the cars bought as investments or do you buy them to drive and use them? Fantastic collection, keep up the good work.
All cars are investments but they’re also there for enjoyment. Cheers.

Glad you're back Pete, had noticed your Insta had gone and I don't blame you at all for sacking it off. Youtube car spotters/bloggers can do one.

Still madly in love with your LFA and IIRC you were maybe getting an F50 at one point? I think I'd die happy seeing either of those two in person so I can only imagine what it's like to own such cars.

Collection is amazing as always and hope things are going well elsewhere, as others have mentioned there were lots of good charity ideas and you always came across as a generous bloke out to do great stuff for the world with what you've got and we could definitely do with more people with that mindset.

Cheers!
Thanks man, I’ve missed the PH’ers on here.

Welcome back Pete.
Great to have you back with your great selection of cars and continued growth of your collection and your very generous support for hospices and the great work they do.
I seem to remember your dad has been unwell, hope he is pulling through.
As others have said more pics please.
Thanks for the kind words, nah he’s deteriorated a lot now. Alzheimer’s runs in the family so it was always a high possibility.
I’ll get some more pics up now. Maybe include some pics of the emails back and forth with Singer in California

Hi Pete,

I was a long term lurker in the old thread which I discovered by chance

I was genuinely disappointed when you pulled it as it was fascinating reading your life story, your rationale behind your purchases and, of course, the cars themselves.

Out of choice I'm not on any other 'social media' so couldn't follow you elsewhere.

As said elsewhere, welcome back, I hope you stay for a while.

I'm now heading back to the shadows smile
Thanks Roman.
You don’t have to stay in the shadows though, get involved, it’s always good hearing from fellow PH’ers.
Pete

Great to see you back, any more info on the Singer DLS? What's the spec/colour and when should you be getting it?!
Gone for the Goodwood launch car.
I picked number 70 but I’ve now been informed that it’s been taken. I’m just going to leave it to chance now. Roll the dice I say.

This may be a big question but could you do a list of all of your cars. Difficult to keep track of what you've got!
I have a wonderful lady that takes care of all that for me.
