Yes, police have the person in their sights, unfortunately said person is on the run. Can’t say anymore than that as I’d be interfering in an active investigation.

Insurers underwrite boats, airliners and all sorts, this will be high for a motor claim but pale into insignificance relative to a boat or plane accident.

Wow.

Bit of a late comer to the thread that I’ve spent the last 3 days reading through with all it’s ups and downs (sorry for you loss!). Simply a stunning collection and even better that they all get driven.

I hope you don’t mind a question, enquiring mind and all that! I see you’ve used the Fiat as a daily, have a Bentayga for chucking larger crap in the back and obviously use much of the collection regularly but do you have anything else at the other end of the price spectrum that you still enjoy owning/driving/looking at for what it is?

Or is it the case that owning and driving the higher end stuff is just too enjoyable and that anything at the end wouldn’t be worth owning?

Pete have you found anything else out about the stolen Aston? Obviously I know you can't say much but wondering if there is anything you can tell us?

Also I know you didn't really like it so wondering if you are planning on replacing it?

That's great news, we all know how much you love that little thing. Are you gonna get another one too, just in case and all that.

Ace, by repair do they essentially mean build a new one and stamp the same numbers in or was it not totally a goner?

Is this looking to be restoration, or will there be options for respeccing certain things you might not have been 100% satisfied with (despite loving the overall car)?

I'm pretty sure the only option on the Rosso Officine was whether to apply the stripes or not. (and of course LHD/RHD)
