I think ‘track’ sums it up - he didn’t like it on the track. Only a true petrol head would know that and turn it down. Back to the Singer...
the chiron pur sport is apparently quite good on track, I know someone who drove one recently on track and was blown away by it!WCZ said:

Depends what you’re blown away with, if you’ve only drove R8’s or Gallardo’s then yes it’ll blow you away. But if you’ve had the pleasure to drive a TDF or 675LT then you’d find the Chiron a heavy lump that tramlines under heavy braking and apex cornering. Don’t get me wrong it’s quick off the line but so is my mates Taycan Turbo S, he still got bored of it within a month though. A car needs passion and unfortunately I don’t think the Chiron has it, it’s just a fast straight line car with ‘some’ handling capabilities. There I said it, you might hate me for it but I do have a vast experience in all manners of cars and bikes and can honestly say that the Chiron isn’t one for creaming myself over.
I think this speaks about a lot of cars and why your biposto is one of your favourite cars it has passion and you can chuck it in any corner and it'll stick Hats off to the OP for this fantastic thread, which has kept me entertained from the start. Being able to experience such a collection and obvious passion has been great, and took on new meaning for me yesterday when I was told to stop driving (having suffered my first seizure at age 54).
Being able to follow things here over the coming months will give me my car fix until (hopefully) I get my license back in 6 or 12 months (finger's crossed, no more seizures)
So keep wowing us with your purchases Pete, and can't wait to see pics of your Singer on British roads

he's an sf90, 812gts etc owner so is pretty experienced - the pursport very much impressed him on track but we are all different richatnort said:

I think this speaks about a lot of cars and why your biposto is one of your favourite cars it has passion and you can chuck it in any corner and it'll stickIt is interesting to see your perspective on this hobby. I had my cars stolen over 10 years ago now, 22 in all from a garage that I owned. From the Police investigation the gang had tracked a specific car that I had and then planted a person in the cleaning company we used to gain access to the building, alarms etc.
They had arrived with 2 truck car trailers and 2 vans. Although trackers were fitted to most of the cars all this meant was that they eventually saw the place that they moved the cars to containers under a bypass. Thereby making the alarms and trackers useless.
They were all long gone into Russia by the time the Police had tracked the plates of the Trucks - all stolen, surprise, surprise.
Some were recovered, the 911 in Estonia and the RS6 in Lithuinia, it is a lengthy process as the insurance company really want it to be a scam.
I found it harder on my family more than myself. My wife having an accident thinking she is being followed. Locking herself in the car until the police arrived. It was all a bit stressful.
But for me having the cars off site meant that there was a physical/mental separation to all this. My cars are now at a new location on a road that is not on the way to anywhere. I even clean my own bog now!
I don't have an instagram, youtube and facebook is years out of date. We still use the cars for the Make a wish and they get loaned out to others through a production company for those who do social media.
Gradually I am getting back into public events as I find sharing the cars with others is the bit that I enjoy. I can still hide under the auspice of being the employee of the guy who owns the car, or the surprisingly clean flatbed driver when I drop the car off for a shoot. As most people are nice
