I’m confused. You post says “start work on my garage” next week and then you post a photo.

It looks finished no?
Sorry I meant to say this is my new temporary garage, my new new garage will be something quite spectacular.
Got you, makes sense to me now.

A garage build thread will be a good one too if you have the time.
I barely have the time to wipe my own arse!!! Haha
It’s a dirty job etc etc

Just seen the LFA Pete, glorious.

Grey with red just works on pretty much anything but it has the added bonus of being unusual on an LFA.

Bring on the Nürburgring version.
Thanks but a trip to spec savers might be worth it, it’s liquid silver not grey laugh
My bad laugh

Either way, silver or grey for me has to have a red interior on any car and this does, on an LFA too, wonderful.

Garage looking good too.

What did you think of the SF90 Pete? Doesn’t look like the Assetto Fiorano from what I saw. Somebody flew past me in that Italian plate demonstrator on Saturday evening, was that you ;-) prefer it in a dark colour like this

No it was just the normal one, I came back after driving it and to be honest, I was pretty underwhelmed.
Ok it’s fast but there’s not much difference between that and an F8 Tributo in terms of acceleration.
And this is the problem with supercars now, they’re all getting a bit boring and same same.
You know what’s exciting me at the moment, my 1M. And that’s why I was shopping for an M2 Competition today. Manual, SWB, rear wheel drive, fun fun fun.
The SF90 was just a bit.................sh*t

Thanks for sharing. The SF90 has always seemed a bit of an oddity from Ferrari to me. The F8 Speciale/Pista will probably be as quick or quicker. Glad to hear you’re still an advocate for the manual, would love an open gated manual of some form as a weekend car.

Do you manage to actually use all the performance of stuff like that on a regular basis ? The supercars I mean ?

Is part of the enjoyment of something like an M2 the fact you can use more of the performance more of the time and change gear yourself ?

Also, does an M2 or similar feel slow after all that lot ?

I'm glad you buy these cars because you want to drive them, not because they are the latest thing.

I always drive my supercars, whatever the weather or circumstances.
I love manuals because I can control the power output to the wheels much better than a paddle shift car. Even with my new stuff like the Pista I always use the paddles instead of using it in auto.

It's refreshing that 2manycarz does drive his own cars. I actually think it's quite rare where you have over 5 or so cars to not see some as just collectables

I think this speaks about a lot of cars and why your biposto is one of your favourite cars it has passion and you can chuck it in any corner and it'll stick
And now the 1M is slowly creeping up there.
Hi Pete - you've mentioned the 1M a couple of times in passing in the thread, but not with much detail (unless I missed it!). As an owner myself, really interested to hear what you think? Sounds like it's getting under your skin.
