I’ve just downloaded Instagram as I was curious…
I’d recommend that others do so. What an absolute st-show! The way you’ve been treated is disgraceful!
I’ll not spoil it, but the email from BMW (not to Pete) about leaving the brand is absolutely staggering!
2MC - perhaps a stupid question - but are you going to get another from a different dealer or is that it with BMW? I’d love an M2C but understandably the experience may have put you off altogether.

Forgive me if this has already been covered either here or on insta, but is this link below anything to do with this situation?
For the life of me I can't understand why the process is described as a 'wrap' in the video when there's clearly no wrapping going on. I'm also struggling to understand why paint protection is sprayed on first, then sanded/buffed, then has decals painted over the top, then more sanding? (all of which seems to undo whatever protection the protections spray was supposedly doing in the first place).
But ignoring all that - the process shown here involves lots of removing panels, painting and refitting - all of which seems to be behind the issues with 2MC's delivered CS.
So even if the process in this video is entirely valid.. maybe they just put it all back together really poorly? Or maybe this video is totally unrelated.
Again, apologies if I'm super late/wrong to this party.

Seems to be Paint Protection Spray, I guess kinda similar to Topaz Skin, and Litchfield do it too. Apparently can be peeled off like a regular wrap.

agree but wonder on the full context of it, sometimes customers can be very rude and unreasonable
A very fair comment on reflection.I suppose it highlights just how careful anyone in a CS role needs to be, things can be taken out of context. That email could have been worded far better for that reason.

I think people get mistreated by car dealers all of the time and 2manycarz just happens to have the platform, money, popularity and balls to expose this particular dealerI suppose it highlights just how careful anyone in a CS role needs to be, things can be taken out of context. but in relation to that other email who knows!
I deal with the public at large through my business and it's insane how customers think they can behave because they are giving you money!

Sure - I understand the concept of paint protection spray, even if I’m unconvinced by it’s likely effectiveness. Apparently can be peeled off like a regular wrap.

My point was more that this video seems to show a car identical to 2MCs going through a process that could easily result in the quality issues he’s experienced with his apparently identical car.
So, rather than his car being in a shunt or something - perhaps it was a car (or even THE car) that went through the process in the video.
The issues are still the issues - but at least no crash involved. Would just be a case of shoddy workmanship and poor customer service.

Just been lucky enough to bag a Ferrari test drive courtesy of Pete's instagram story.
Booked in to drive the Portofino M at 2pm so will post my thoughts here afterwards
Well I drove the Portofino M earlier for around 45 minutes and I must say for the "baby" Ferrari it was quite the machine.Booked in to drive the Portofino M at 2pm so will post my thoughts here afterwards
The two things that stood out to me was the ride quality which for the type of car it is was pretty unbelievable and also the levels of torque as it just pulled from incredibly low revs and is a monster of an engine.
Getting used to the quick steering and indicators etc. took me half an hour or so but towards the end of the test drive it was starting to make sense and I was gelling with the car. I think the fact I have been driving an electric car and one peddle driving recently made it a bit more of a shock getting into one from another as well.
Its also worth nothing for anyone lucky enough to be looking purchase one at 6 foot 3 I did fit but I would not have wanted to be any bigger as I had the seat all the way back.
The guy next to me was an ex-racing driver and it was great to chat to him as well around cars in general during the drive, its clear this is where Ferrari differs itself from other companies as the guy was a real petrolhead in general and had talked the talk by the sounds of it having won several races in F40s etc. back in the day.
All in all it was a fantastic experience and I just need to work out how I can afford one now. Does anyone fancy a new kidney?

I’ll be doing lots more of this from now on, using my platform and notoriety for good.
Well Pete sign me up if possible, I'd gladly chuck you the next tank of fuel or at the very least some food and drink of your choice for the privilege. Based in St. Helens so no hassle for me to get across but would be immensely grateful for a day out, chatting about cars and whatnot and a blast around in something nice, even a passenger ride would have me feeling cheeky for asking. Off for six weeks thanks to the joys of school holidays.
Wonderful that you do this sort of thing regardless, would imagine it means the world to those who get the chance and great for you to put a massive grin on people's faces too, all credit to you.

Its a shame I couldn't do my deliveroo shift tonight in the Ferrari I would have liked to have seen people's faces when I pulled up...

Thank you, yeah I’ll be doing a lot more of this stuff so probably best to just keep an eye on my Instagram account. Doing some work with Topaz soon, oh and Michelin. So basically I just want to give away loads of free st, instead of the other YouTubers that have to lick the boots of these brands, I want the brand to lick all your boots. After all, it’s you lot that will buy their merchandise. Time to flip the script I guess. And the good thing is, because my platform isn’t followed by thousands of 14 year old, I genuinely do get to speak to folk like yourself that will have a valid opinion. Let’s see how I shake up the YouTube tree now.
Instead of “I’m thinking about maybe possibly contemplating the thought of some day looking at purchasing a BMW M2CS” as a video.
I’ll be more “Yep bought an M2CS, parcel of st like a noddy car” and just be brutally honest.
And whatever I buy and review, I’ll just raffle off, as long as I’ve covered my purchase cost then any money extra I’ll just donate to charity. Who knows! Maybe one day someone could get my Singer DLS for a tenner!!!
Anything is possible.

Here’s hoping you do the odd event down south, and your idea of people paying it forward as a thank you is excellent.
