Hi everyone
Sorry I’ve been quiet on here lately, been travelling the world.
Still currently away but back in Blighty in a few weeks time.
Ready to answer any questions as I’m having a few drinks and reading the latest EVO.
Got my Senna and a few other ‘bits’ to collect when I get home. But had a fair few months to think about what kind of garage I want when I get back home.
I’m not selling anything but I am changing my buying habits.
Going to start going through Ferrari’s back catalogue and buying the older stuff first. I can’t find a 125 or a 125S but I have tracked down a 166 vignale. Then it’s onto a 212 inter and so forth.
Don’t know why but I do have a massive hard on for the Ferrari brand.
Someone asked what you get someone like me for Xmas, my wife nailed this. She got me that Ferrari ‘Taschen’ book that comes on the 458 engine block. Amazing book.
One of my mates got me a table made from one of my DB5 wheels (I’m currently changing my DB5 to FIA spec so I can rally it so I had a spare few alloys) which is super nice.

What did you think of EVO’s comments on the Pista in their COTY review?
It’s an amazing car and it drives sooooo well but it makes a weird sound and doesn’t thrill like my Speciale, and doesn’t come close to the sound of my my Speciale Aperta. However I am getting a Pista Spider as well which is a rare thing indeed so I’ll be doing a review on all 4 of them together when I get mine. What did you think of EVO’s comments on the Pista in their COTY review?

That table is fking awesome! Would be interested in any more details about the DB5 transformation too, sounds very interesting

Pete,
Is it the driving or the owning/collecting that gives you the kick?
Or both?!
Definitely both, however it’s at different times. Take for instance my Porsche GT, great car but I rarely drive it as it’s scary as foooooook. Same as my LFA. However I can happily sit there with a coffee and just look at them for hours on end. Is it the driving or the owning/collecting that gives you the kick?
Or both?!
