No idea. A Lusso is around £1.5m, so given the extent of the work done on this I’d say £2m minimum. But does originality count with these? Is it devalued because of the mods?

Pete could at least lend me a car for my wedding in August, before he gets rid of them all. Especially as it’s about a mile from his house laugh

I’ve spent quite a bit more than £500k getting her back to how she originally was. This is how she was from factory, it raced like this during the 60’s-90’s (lots of photos of it on the web from back in the day).
I have just brought her back to how she originally was, the only difference I’ve done is added wider wheels from the GTO, the GTO gearbox (NOT CHEAP!!!!), and upgraded her to a 3.3 just like the 330 LMB. All of this can be easily reversed. Oh and I’ve taken out the plexiglass and added in real glass so I can take her out on the road and park up and leave her without stressing about someone breaking in and driving away.
Besides, I’ve decided I’m keeping all my classics now and they’ll be coming over to join me in Dubai. There’s a decent classic car culture here and this would just sent people crazy.

Just to get back on track, here’s what I’ll be taking to SCD secret meet if anyone is going.
Holy moly. I picked up one of these recently (the tamiya version). Very nice.

Just picked up on this thread Pete, from scanning the last couple of pages am looking forward to following. First q on my mind is what have you got in your garage? I don't know if you have a published list or images we could see? If you do then maybe worth putting into your first post as this thing is so long it's not easy! Thanks for sharing beer

I’m just working on launching my 2MC brand out there, bringing R5 rally cars to the Arab market plus helping Al Tayer Ferrari getting their classic Ferrari owners together to enjoy them a bit more especially around Yas and Dubai.

You sound like my wife, “it’s so long it’s not easy”
There’s no point in putting a list of cars in this thread as it’ll be the most edited page since Chuck Norris’ Wikipedia page. Best thing to do is just read it all and have a laugh with us, that’s what this thread is about, all of us, not just me waffling on.

I'm glad you have decided to keep the collection, even if only because I love seeing and reading about the stunning cars you have - sort of living the dream vicariously if that makes sense!

Please keep the updates coming as and when you can. thumbup

I know it's a 'secret' meet but can the public rock up at Donington (or Silverstone this year I guess) for the SCD day?

I've got an account on their website but obviously don't own a supercar.

Hmm, I’m not sure to be honest. I just given free tickets as I usually bring something a bit special. I do see a lot of people there that don’t own supercars, so I would just imagine you can buy a ticket direct from SCD. I won’t be there this year unfortunately as I’ll be a fair few thousand miles away but I hope the weather is good and everyone has a great day.

Still the car I covet the most out of all of them, the Lusso is a properly beautiful thing.

Cool read through the thread, curious to hear your thoughts on other Porsche's given you went for a DLS but no mention of GT3's?

How is the LFA doing? Are they good driving cars or just purely there for the orchestra?

I’ve had many Porsche’s over my time. I just don’t really talk about them because they don’t invoke the same excitement as other marques. So let’s start with the CGT, had one, thought it was super overrated and actually not a fun car to drive nor fast. And the V10 sound is muted compared to the LFA. I even have an E60 V10 manual M5 with an Eventuri air box and a straight through exhaust that sounds infinitely better than the CGT.
I had the 997 GT3RS 4.0 in rhd, not really a fantastic car. Even tracked it numerous times and it didn’t blow me away. Lots of 911’s and Boxster’s but again, underwhelming compared to their cult status. So yeah, not really a big Porka fan.

I don’t own any LFA’s anymore, as the last one went up in price to an obscene figure so it just made great business sense to part ways with it. Great cars both on track and on road, will always go for one if the right one comes along.
