Cheers for the feedback mate i don't think there too in your face its not like its got loads of chrome on it i tried the us spec lights and looked crap on the golf i think it being sliver didn't help

Am looking at a new steering wheel diffently want a momo team steering wheel just not sure if i should go for theb280mm one or the 300mm one has anyone got any experience of the 28pmm am worried it might be a litter small for the golf??

The 280mm is a joke of a wheel, it's too small for anything other than a kart. They look odd in any car imo.

Well tonight just done my xmas list and hopefully Santa's going to be coming down my chimney with a set of porsche 4 pot brakes for the golf lol

So today got one of my recaros fitted today really happy with it just the drivers side to do but starting raining what do people think

So just purchased some r32 side skirts and a cheeky 300mm omp steering wheel cant wait to fit really don't like the standard gti steering wheel

So santa decided to bring me some 20mm spacers for xmas fitted them this morning looks so much better

Also got a omp steering wheel just waiting for the boss kit to arrive then will fit it

Nice car mate. Keep it standard with a few interior tweaks and some power gains and you won't go far wrong. My first car was a 1.6 mk4 and my second was a 1.9 tdi mk4, they were both good cars. I do miss my 1.6...

Thats what i am going for i like the omp+look its so easy to make mk4 look bad

I had a 1.6 many moons ago the engine was nippy for a 1.6 had that for 2 years then brought the 1.8t totally stock with 80k on the clock full vw service history

So gave the golf a 4 hour detail session today first of the year while the wife took the xmas decs down

Not a fan of the golf gti decals but other than that really clean car mate

Went to the jap vs German meet today was great great turn out some lovely motors my favourite was a mk2 golf with a r32 lump in it was sweet 👍

So last week decided to start spraying my side skirts did 3 coats of primer rubed it down just starting spraying top coat

So couple of weekends ago i applied hybrid wax too the golf am really happy with it great results

So bit of a update i am finally getting the golf remapped next Saturday cant wait also still after some porsche brakes if anyone can help cheers

So bit of a update. Got the golf remapped a month ago then the clutch started slipping so brought a vr6 clutch and g60 fly wheel just waiting for it to be fitted now. Today i thought i would fit my amp and subwoofer pics down below really happy with it sounds so much better now
