A picture I've wanted to get for ages, the Focus with the bridge at Ironbridge in the background.
I was going to say park on the Station hotel car park the other side of the river but you dropped on there, that lay-by is usually full of bikes.

I grew up in Coalport, the next village down river.

Thanks, if I am in the area again I will do that, though I'm hoping to get to the Severn Valley Railway later in the year when things start opening up again

Not much to report lately as for obvious reasons it's not been used much outside of commuting, though it clicked over 197k on the way into work this morning, no picture as I was on the A63 at the time.

Treated the Focus to new wiper blades after work today as the driver side one was knackered. Much better.

Ford seem to have changed the Etis site as well, it's only limited information without signing in. Any Ford salesmen able to get me a build date for it please?
No affiliation to Ford whatsoever, but your build date was 14/5/2007.
Just realised this means the cars birthday was 2 days ago.

I've made the half arsed decision that if I'm still furloughed during June I'm going to clay bar, polish and wax both cars............keep an eye out for reports of one of two things, firstly fat bald bloke passes out from heat exhaustion, and/or fat bald bloke seeks help repairing paint damage on Focus!!!! hehe

Mine could do with a good clean and polish, still need to sort the n/s/f wheel out as well, I think the alloy has corroded around the lip.

Your wheels are easier to refurb than mine, mask it up, a sand back and a respray, on the old Focus they're diamond cut faces, a proper pain in the arse!!!

Please do not quote me, BUT, somewhere in the past, I was informed that if suspension bushes have gone, you can replace like for like with the ST version, same size, just built a lot stronger, so last a lot longer.

Was this true or not, I cannot remember, but if so, I should have taken that advice, I spent a bloomin fortune on arms on my car!

Dropped the Focus off at my friendly garage to get the knocking sorted.
