That's great news on your ABS sensors.... mine came on as a warning light lately, garage couldn't find a problem so they cleared the fault code.... if it happens again I'll need to do the same as you

I’ve got one of those as a tourer sat on my drive needing some TLC. It’s a 2.0 auto in graphite pearl. Ran it for 3 years until I got my landrover and then the future Mrs Godzilla had it until she got her scirocco and we never got round to selling it. It’s been mostly faultless other than some sticking brakes and constantly blowing headlight bulbs.

Serviced the car today. Still hasn't hit 40k miles yet.

Plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter and pollen filter.
Also replaced the abs sensor. What a bd that was. Took us over 2 hours of digging the snapped part out.

At least it is now down and I no longer have an abs light on.

Next is get it booked in for an MOT and then get the car advertised for sale as I am expecting to have my M5 and its rebuilt engine back mid next month.

Whats the panic ?

I would keep it on standby until the M5 is bedded back in and you are confident in it.

No panic, but the funds from the Honda would be really useful as the M5 engine repair is costing me 5 figures. We have my wife's car to use. The M5 is likely to be sold this year regardless.

A few pics taken yesterday after its service and a clean. Need to get the interior cleaned in preparation for sale.

That's scrubbed up very nicely, it's a great shade of blue smile

Cheers, it isn't a bad colour at all.

Looks like I may need to keep this a little longer. My M5 block isnt back from the machine shop yet as as 2 cylinders need a slight over bore and the rest need honing it is not looking promising for me picking up the car on the 13 of April.

Gave the car a wash n polish today. Didn't come out too bad. Going to be putting it up for sale soon as I am hopeful that my M5 will be back with me at the end of this month.

What does it owe you? Potentially interested to replace my lease A4...

Gave the interior a clean today. Used Autoglym leather cleaner and Autoglym leather care balm. I think that it has come up quite well.

I'll be putting this up for sale once it has been MOT'd. Probably going up for £1950 ono.

That looks such a comfortable set-up with the leather. I've thought about sourcing a black set for my Accord but lower spec ones like mine lack the wiring looms in the floor for the electric controls so the best I can get is the part leather from a sport or type-S rolleyes

Good luck with the sale, I don't reckon you'll have any problems moving her on.

Why sell it keep it running and enjoy it - or don’t you really like it..hence wanting to move it on so relatively soon after buying?

It is quite good on a run. Not built for throwing it around mind.

That's a shame about the looms.

Cheers, I hope not. One of my neighbours seems to be interested in it.

The car is a stop gap until my M5 comes back, so it is pointless me keeping it once it returns.

Nice car OP, very low mileage as well. Do you have any potential buyers as I could be interested...

Sailed through the MOT. Zero advisories.
