Tease! I thought f-type sounded perfect, always been the perfect noise for me... until now! Have you broken her in yet? What does she sound like high up the rev range? Is it a 8k rev limit? (Blind guess)

Went and got it dirrrrty today

Done 400 miles now in the first week.

Starting to get some initial impressions of the car, particularly vs. My previous F-TYPE R from which I can draw some immediate comparisons.

In Track Mode there is a noticeable and interceptible engineered in ‘thump’ between gear changes.

Also the upshift burp / fart is incredibly loud.

The exhaust tone inside the cabin is a few level down from the bat st crazy F-TYPE and there’s none of the snap crackle and pops....but wind the rear windows down a touch and you hear the thunder that’s coming out of the rear pipes !

Boring spec oddity is it has no heated seats, which are standard on the base XE ?

Also has no Lane Keep Assist, which is fine as it does my head in, but interesting it doesn’t have it as again, standard on base XE.

My InControl app also doesn’t have remote start feature for some reason ?

If it’s the same system as in my RRS (which I’m guessing it will be) you need a data sim to use the remote features and also to get traffic etc. on the nav.

Congrats on the purchase, it looks amazing and well done for going with something a bit different!
