Thats waaay cooler than a up!

Once the limiter is removed and a half decent map should be a blast.

I know I know, the limiter is reached in no time at all!

I've got a tuning box fitted but it's just not the same.

Thanks! I usually get very marmite comments about it haha, it's surprising how many people haven't even heard of these. They are literally everywhere in Japan.

The radio is useless in the UK, so I'll not go over that, There are controls on the steering wheel though!
seen plenty of older 90's come and go through KKITP, didn't realise they were still produced.

FM frequency expander will sort out the Radio

The radio had lots of features that don't work in the UK. Nav, TV, FM bands not wide enough, no DAB either.

However, it was a Kenwood radio, so I bought a Kenwood radio here to replace it biggrin

I have a lot of want for everything Suzuki produce at the moment. Absolutely love this.

Really enjoyed that history article someone posted above, too - amazing that you can tune the F6A to over 100bhp!

Very cool. I wish they sold Kei cars in this country.

I'm enjoying it so far anyway that's for sure! it's brilliant on fuel too.

Suzuki have always sold "kei" cars here, all the Alto's are Kei. just the last chassis they sold in the uk was HA35 - this one is HA36. I guess they think it would kill Ignis sales? I've no idea.

I know what you mean though, you think there would be a market in the UK for similar sized cars. 660cc is maybe a bit extreme but 800-1000 turbo and the same size. it's definitely not short on passenger space anyway.

laughlaugh that bit made me laugh

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the car in terms of modifications, I've still got my 1.3 106 Rallye to finish!

That is utterly fantastic. Wish these were an official import.
So, do you think the 4wd is worth the weight?

Sir, I doff my cap to you!
I must admit that if I were looking for a small city car then I’d actially consider this over an Up! !
Apart from its diminutive stature, the thing that appeals is the potential to drive it nearly flat out on twisty B roads and have.... fun.
There are a plethora of ‘hot hatches’ that may be fast and fun but tell me you can drive them anywhere near their full potential on our roads the majority of the time, whereas this...
as Paul Ehitehoyse would say ‘it’s brilliant!’

At least it's merely a double-DIN and not one of these infuriating built-in jobs.

Looks great fun and there is something quixotic about JDM cars so small one must wear them!

The S660 is a brilliant car, I'd have bought one as it's a similar price, but occasionally I need to move more than 1 passenger and luggage bigger than a tin of beans. No doubting that they handle better because of weight distribution and low CofG.

You might like some of Hot-Version videos on Youtube of the S660, Alto and Copen etc. Some of them are English subtitiled.

Excellent cars, I'm a fan of all small cars so these are hugely appealing to me. Out of the 3 I'd be happy with any of them but the little Copen is the one my heart wants and always has even in the old version. If I won the lottery I'd own a collection of them.

Gotta love the Japanese, random woman dressed as a cat in the video for no obvious reason.

That looks like a great little car OP. thumbup

I'm amazed nobody ever offered them in the UK - apart from Daihatsu with the Copen IIRC.
