Apart from the tax, I cant see the point of the outlander PHEV, I had a 69 plate one for three months. Unless you plug it in every day ( then get about 20 miles ) there is virtually no recharge of electric, maybe a mile or two at max, the petrol economy was shocking, about 33mpg, whereas a diesel would give me 46 ( our other glc250). There are the choice at work now as the tax is about 300 a month as opposed to the 600 for the Merc, but as a private purchase , why would you. In the end I bought the GLC, its better in every way.

Interesting that you were getting 20miles? [cynic]Was it really that, or just what it told you were getting?[/cynic]Sorry for the de-rail OP

If you’re not charging every day then you are going to miss out on the point of a PHEV imo. LincolnLovin said:
True, but it depends on how their compensation scheme works?
Depends on the Bank, the issue (if there is one) will be that the banks platform/your account access wasn't abused to get the money moved, the fraudster socially engineered you to make the transfer via the compromised email account.Keep on them

Have you had that in writing, along with why?
What has the dealer said with this taken into account?
Yup its in writing, they said that they (the bank) did everything it needed to according to the code but that I could had done more. I don't consider what I have done to be gross negligence so will escalate to the ombudsman. What has the dealer said with this taken into account?
I'm awaiting a callback from the dealer to discuss.

This is all with the dealer then- it was their compromise that started it...
Do they still have a vehicle you want?
