This isn’t helping me.

Not sure whether to go E90 again or E46.

That’s looking really good. Painting the callipers etc really tidies the car up.

Great weather over the past few days. Nice to get out in the car.

Also found a friend.

Looks much cleaner without the plinth.

How do you find the wind deflector with the aero bars...I was told not to bother. It looks cool though. I’m torn biggrin

Thanks.

I've never ran the bars without the wind deflector but my MPG didn't change.

Usually I reverse the car in the garage and put a cover over it but the other day I drove it in and parked it infront of the window without its cover.

A bird got in the garage and went to town on attacking it's reflection.

A few of the scratches were deeper than others but thankfully not thru the paint.

Spent this morning trying to tidy it up.

After

And a pic from a few weeks back.

What a mess the bird made!!! Looks like you have done a cracking job of restoring it, car looks sensational.

Every time I see an E90 M3 I want one again. I know it's 'just' a 3 series but they got the styling absolutely spot on.

They do look lovely and butch with the arches and I think that they look great side on like the OP's photo there. I have a personal preference of two doors though so I prefer the Coupe, but I do think that the majority do prefer the looks of the four door for sure. cool

Agree and I would have been distraught if that had happened to one of my cars but I wouldn't be able to restore it back to the OP's standard either though. Hats off.

It’s odd, but for the last 4 of 5 years I would always have said the saloon looks better. In the last 6 months though I’ve completely changed tack and ended up buying a coupe a couple of weeks ago. I think it’s because the coupe seems to be ageing better (IMHO of course). Need to start a readers car thread really.

Loving your choice OP. The design of these have matured really well - To me, much better looking than the E92 these days - Henry Catchpole chose the E9x as the one he'd go home with in a recent Carfection series comparing each M3 generation on youtube which is high praise coming from him.
If my E91 N52 manual 330i ever dies (it probably won't!) then i'll be after one of these...

Sheesh, that bird made a mess of the paint. Glad you were able to sort it without having to resort to paint.

I spotted an E90 M3 on the cycle home this evening. It's a rare pleasure to spot one in the wild and they're a hell of a desireable practical fast car.
