Wakefield but the car was Mapped in Batley at Motorsport & Performance but it was only there 1 day. The do a lot of Mustangs there. They have a 850bhp Demo car.

Car is heavy but on par with a Nissan GTR but just RWD. It doesn't feel heavy when you floor it. anything from 30/40 upwards when you have traction it is just relentless in the way it pulls and its not like you have to wait for the boost to built either its just there instantly.

The standard engine is pretty good and can be easily got up to 500-520bhp for about 3k.

I did this just because I wanted to own something with silly power at least once.
Im NA with the gt350 intake manifold, throttle body, cai, plus tune. Now looking at headers to put it firmly north of 500bhp. Problem is headers are £3k fitted (Kooks green) so it’s getting pricy. Did you make that power on the stock headers and cats?

Hey Craig, awesome car. I didn't realise there was a S550 tuning scene in the UK.
What rear tyres are you running?
My Shelby came with GoodYear eagle F1 super car tyres and 285mm they really were useless when my car was at 750+hp.
I changed the wheels last year and upgraded to 305mm Michelin pilot super sports and they difference is night and day!

Take a look at JW racing, they do 3 different power packs. the 510 power pack uses:

Steeda Cold Air Intake Kit (without restrictor)
E-Motion nGuage Data Viewer / Logger
MY18 Genuine Ford Inlet Manifold
MMR Lockout Kit & Additional Hardware
X Force Stainless Steel Headers & Catalysers
Lund Racing Custom Tune File
Adaption to current exhaust to suit headers

A few guys on Mustang6G have had this done and have dyno'd 500+

My car is standard except the Edelbrock. I did have Roush axle back but removed as i found it too loud for every day use.

I'm still on the standard sizes but running vredestein ultrac vorti all round.
Keep looking at RTR Aero7 wheels so may change later this year.

Great work Craig I can't leave any of my cars standard even my daily has now had some upgrades, I'm surprised you're still on the standard size wheels when my SL55 was at 700+ the rubber couldn't cope until I went up to a bigger wheel & tyre combo.

I would have preferred to spend my money investing in a property up-grade.

You're assuming the OP isn't happy with where he lives, I'd guess by him upgrading his car he's a very happy chap with both his car & home. wink

Maybe WJNB was referring to better financial return on property investment rather than cars? scratchchin

There's a balance with sensible investment taking priority. But I still spend a fortune going racing driving

Does look good in that Destroyer Grey with all the tasteful mods. Thanks for all the useful info. It all seems so much more fun than just buying a Hellcat. Well done that man for blazing a trail.

Few bits done to the car over the last week.

Upgraded to the 2018+ digital dash

Normal mode

Sport

Track/drag

and so it didn't feel lonely i also upgraded from MFT (sync 2) to Sync 3

Both dash and Sync 3

Dash was the most expensive at about £1400 for all the bits and the Sync 3 came in at just over 500 using secondhand Focus unit.
Money well spent as the inside now feels much nicer to be in and the Apple car play is certainly welcomed.

Also over the last few months since supercharging the car the day to day drive ability has been slowly getting on my t*ts. Wide open throttle the car was great but just plodding around in traffic it was a chore to try and drive smooth. A few weeks of research and i went with Palm Beach Dyno in Florida for a remote tune to see if they could get it driving better.

Final revision of there tune today after some data logging and the car is night and day difference to drive. Even feels like it pulls better so happy. Will be going back on the dyno again in the near future to see what the power is now.

Sitting in my office now is also a 2018 active exhaust that will be going on soon. Just waiting on a control box to arrive so there will be more pics soon.

Plug and play to have it working but there are a few coding changes to do with FORScan but the program is free and easy to use. Just have to buy an interface from Amazon/eBay to about a tenner.

Took about an hour.
