My mate has used duck oil, but his alloys aren't even lacquered. I have no idea how successful it is.

In other news: Jeeze, Yellow coffin spoke wheels sure as heck show the dirt and are a bugger to clean!
Its good to see you using it alot !

I genuinely look at new wheels now and consider how easy they are to clean. Maybe worth looking at getting the wheels ceramic coated ?
I've coated my last few wheels with Gtechniq C5. It really does make them far easier to clean.

Yep, really does help. You do need a proper sealed mask to apply it, as it's really evil stuff. Best done with the wheels off the car so you can get to the backs of the spokes. With it applied a cold jetwash will get them 95% spotless

The Adriatica clocks have both stopped, as has mine: I told you that they were rubbish. You should have bought the Rundenmeisters that I suggested.

Ummm. Perhaps an update of sorts.

I did a sort of PH type of readers car's thingy last week which may (or may not) see the light of day next month depending on how much of a prat I've made of myself. smile

Been enjoying your threads and really enjoyed the video, made me smile when everyone else was asking tech questions and you asked if you could have lots of lights and a roof scoop wink

Love all the dials and the toggle start button also how your objective was sounding fun not just chasing the bhp numbers.

Huge thanks to Ben for encouraging me to do this and obviously to the multi talented Harry for all the skills in filming and editing it in such a way as to not make me look too much like a plonker.

I guess the fact that we started at about 10am and finished up about 5pm to make the 10 min video illustrates how much plonker-ness had to be edited out biggrin

I always enjoy coming back to this thread, what a cracking video Jim you must be dead chuffed! As I said in the comments, it’s often said that no car is perfect but this is perfection on four wheels wink

And I still fancy an orange Stradale with gold wheels!

Good video, great car OP!

I have the very same model.

Is this Stratos the same make/build as the one Jezza tested on TG?
