Are you Portsmouth area based, sure I followed this a few nights ago on the M27.

If not, you have a doppelganger that sounds amazing

So a small issue occurred, this car hasn’t put a foot wrong in 4 years, although hasn’t covered many miles in them years it certainly gets the abuse it has been built for.

Pulling out for a roundabout wheels lit up in first, all the way through second and to the redline in 3rd. Clear the 4wd was no longer working. Plugged it in and found out the Hadlex pump has failed. Not a huge expense but not ideal before Christmas!

I dread to think how much that would cost to replace.

Off to royal steering wheels in the morning for half leather and half alcantara wheel to be installed, then over Xmas fit pole positions in half leather and alcantara. That will be the interior complete then back onto the engine!!

Unfortunately after a 4 hour round trip I got there to find the wheel wasn’t even done and came home without the retrimmed wheel. Very annoyed so it will now be fitted after new year!

Wheel looks great, very nice upgrade!
Thanks should match the seats nicely, still debating wether to remove rear bench and fit half cage for clubsport style or just keep full interior. The car has been mine for 5 years now and no one has sat in the back! Going to the ring in May so might end up going slightly more hardcore route but still keeping it clean and subtle!

Steering wheel looks superb. I really need to get mine retrimmed at some point, 12yo and 140K have taken its toll
Really has transformed the interior and feel of the drive, he is doing my arm rest soon to match. Should go well with the pole positions then!

Looks very clean.

How much did the steering wheel set you back? I am toying with the idea of getting my steering wheel done too.
Wheel costs £165 from royal steering wheels, fantastic job!

Awesome looking car
Thanks for the kind words, it’s going to become slightly more focused with a clubsport theme so half cage in the rear but all carpeted etc so it’s still clean and very usable

That is a great price and for quality workmanship and product.

Did they supply the wheel? Or did you get a spare one and you traded it over?
Traded over, paid the additional surcharge and once he receives the wheel back you get the refund, easy process

Gave the shed a quick going over, trying to fall back in love with the car. Car does very few miles so debating moving it on and getting something slightly more focused. Unsure yet but would have around 14k to play with.....

Looking at fitting a mechanical oil pressure gauge, stack one so it matches the other gauge and matches stock dials, where is the best place to tap into for this? Sandwich plate ?

This week car will get a new battery, full detail, wheels off to clean the coilovers, vibra engine mounts installed and fit new seats.

Until covid 19 is over it's currently sorn 😴

Gave the Audi S3 a bit of loving this weekend, I was debating selling it however having the car for 5 years it’s pretty much worthless now and finding something this clean and capable for the same money won’t happen!

I’ve decided to go for a more capable car so will have a rear cage fitted, get the pole positions in and change coilovers for more focused set up and run some camber! It will still be a very very clean build, so carpet the rear etc

Yes more focused for track use. Its rarely used anyway so might as well enjoy it. Will still remain clean with all the creature comforts
