Lovely Golf and some effort you are going to with the finite details on such a new car!

Not often you see this kind of work at this early stage.

Just finished an underbody refresh on a 32 year old mk2 16v and it definitely needed it! laugh

Hope all goes well from now on! smile

It’s been sitting since June. It has been turned over numerous times with the injector pump fuse pulled out. Just to keep everything Lubricated.
I fully prescribe to modifying a car to make it better, but I draw the line at putting a nearly new car off the road for 9 months to rebuild the almost-new suspension. Wouldn't it have been better to drive the car some decent miles, then make modifications in smaller increments?

Appreciate the feedback however it is what I want to do. End off. I’m really enjoying myself and have been wanting to do polybushes , stainless lines and other things etc on a car for years and years. Now I have the opportunity to do so and I’m loving it. If you think I’m bad watch Matt at obsessed garage and you’ll get an idea where I’m coming from. 👍

Nice. Wish I could take such time.

Also mod my mqb myself but contrast is great here, it's my daily so all mods must be done during the day, usually within hours. Next turboswap can take two days tops but will still try doing it in one m...

How does confirmation bias work if it was 9-10 months ago since you drove it and probably only drive inferior stuff (handling wise) day to day?

It has been 5months since it last turned a wheel. I drive a shed passat 1.9tdi with 190k Miles every day so yeah it feels incredible in comparison. I always want it to feel special and sheds rule as far as I’m concerned hahaha.

I don’t but I’m on the hunt for a CS and been offered a red one not advertised currently.

23k miles/3 owners. Current owner has driven it 100 miles this year hence the sale. I know the current owner and it’s in immaculate condition. Not sure what to value it at.

Still keeping my eye on these hoping that maybe I can run one as my 2nd car! Not sure the wife will appreciate x2 two seaters on the drive though ...

They’re commanding strong money still. I like the idea of one, two seats is fine - being single haha.
