I fitted rear lines and today I’m draining the fuel tank as I think the petrol will have went stale. It’s been sitting since June. It has been turned over numerous times with the injector pump fuse pulled out. Just to keep everything Lubricated.

I fully prescribe to modifying a car to make it better, but I draw the line at putting a nearly new car off the road for 9 months to rebuild the almost-new suspension. Wouldn't it have been better to drive the car some decent miles, then make modifications in smaller increments?

Appreciate the feedback however it is what I want to do. End off. I’m really enjoying myself and have been wanting to do polybushes , stainless lines and other things etc on a car for years and years. Now I have the opportunity to do so and I’m loving it. If you think I’m bad watch Matt at obsessed garage and you’ll get an idea where I’m coming from. 👍

It has been 5months since it last turned a wheel. I drive a shed passat 1.9tdi with 190k Miles every day so yeah it feels incredible in comparison. I always want it to feel special and sheds rule as far as I’m concerned hahaha.
