If the point is really to run it as cheaply as possible, why are you buying replacement items like number plates and exhaust tips when it already has originals still doing their jobs? Or are they needed to get through an MOT or whatever?
The number plate has started to delaminate so I thought I’d get one and put the backing plate in as well (that was it doesn’t curve so much which is what made it so that in the first place. Starting to think about MOT and what not as well.

Valid point about the exhaust tips, I only got those because they were going for a reasonable price, god knows when/if they’ll end up on the car

Hi GR_TVR, things have been a bit crazy with home and work but I’ve still been using the car daily. Got a video to upload which I’ll do tomorrow or Wednesday. Couple of incidents to report 😊

Hello,

Just uploaded another video.

It’s been a manic few weeks but should be calm so I’ll be able to add a few more videos/updates.

I’ve been away for about 10 days and the autumn has set in during that time

I’ve just driven to Cardiff and started to worry when I was in traffic as the temperature needle headed to the right of the zero...but luckily we started moving again quite quickly, phew!
What happened to your concerns about it over heating?

Ah yes, I have actually not done anything about that whatsoever and I just wack the heater on max and then top up when it cools down.

Some things are happening which means I’ll have time to do some of the work (and record)...but I’ve been very lax in fixing things but have continued to use it every day

Spotted! I was on my way out cycling this morning and saw a leaf covered silver 911 parked by a wall, thought it looked familiar from those pics, and checking the plate it's yours. We're just a couple of miles away on the other side of the river...

Just scanned through your videos and you drive past the end of our road in one of them.

There's another PHer who lives in that old white house on the corner by the church in Pang - he has a thread on here about it.

Big news! We have a new MOT with only 1x2 advisories!! (Slight corrosion in front metal brake pipes - to be monitored). Will get that sorted.

I am soooo happy (and relieved!)

Still looking sorry for itself...

Any updates on this? YouTube + Thread seem to have gone quiet - hope the car has been good over the x-mas period and someone got a go-pro?
