Glad you're pleased with it. Personally I prefer the OEM ones but it isn't my car, so that matters not a jot! smile

I had the wheels fitted yesterday. Slight issue, the rear wheels fowl on the F80 M3 caliper face. I've had to fit 12mm spacers to the rear wheels to get them to clear, but they run a fair bit on the rear arches, so I am going to get a pair of 10mm ones and hope that the extra bit of clearance is enough. The 12mm ones will then go back on the front.

The wheels then. Oh. My. God.

I am so happy with how they look. I was a little unsure if they would suit it, but in person the car looks hard as nails now.

They make a bit of a statement as Mrs TAD puts it.
I do like LMs biggrin

Where did you source them from in the end TAD?

This doesn't help my want for BBS LMs. Car looks absolutely great with them on.

Looks good TAD. Like them a lot.

Wonder if a small spacer at the rear and lift the rears by 20mm might give it a lovely stance.

Thanks Ross! Your opinion is allowed and is valid, they're not going to be to everyone's taste and that's absolutely fine. If we all liked the same things then life would be very boring!

Cheers! Still some issues to sort - those will be sorted over winter.

Cheers! I wasn't sure how they were going to look on the car, I was a little apprehensive until they were fitted, I made a sound choice!

I bought them from BM Autosport. They are rep's sadly, I couldn't afford the £5k drop on a set of wheels right now, especially when I wasn't sure how they would look.

They're currently on a 12mm spacer at the rear which is too wide and causing the tyres to rub on the arches. I've ordered a set of 10mm ones to hopefully combat that. I will also likely look at getting a little bit of camber dialed in.

I have coilovers to fit and I will be raising the rear help avoid the tyres catching, but I do like how it looks right now, despite it being impracticle laugh

Agree; mine were from BMAutosport also; that's why I recommended them to you as they're well made and they don't sell crap wheels biggrin

Sweet, Mark is a good chap and did me a nice deal. They suit the E39 shape nicely as well.

The wheels look epic cloud9

Smidge low at the back for me but then I do like a bit of rake, look forward to seeing it on the coilovers smile

Does look like it has forward rake, it might just be an arch height thing.

How’s it running at the moment?

Cheers James! Yeah it's a bit too low now, this is partly why the rears rub. I need to get a bit more negative camber dialed in as the 10mm spacers didn't resolve the issue.

Cheers! It was the cars last event this year, hopefully get to some more next year.

The arch heights do play into it, but the rear shocks are very tired now. When the coilovers go on that should be all sorted, I hope!

I have finally found a spacer set that works. Thanks to Mark @ BM Autosport who kindly sent me a set of Bimecc 10mm spacers for the rear, after the other 10mm spacers I bought didn't fit on the hub properly. How the garage who fitted them didn't notice this beyond me. If you want a job doing right, do it yourself.

All I need to do now is to get the tracking / camber sorted on the passenger rear wheel as it still rubs slightly, but the driver's side doesn't rub at all!
