I am putting the car up for sale today, tentatively. I expect it to take a while to sell, hence why putting it up now.

Cheers.

I aren't sure tbh. It's only a tentative up for sale. I just need to pay a few bills that have mounted up of late, could do we freeing up some money really.

Thats a shame, but can totally understand why, I think if anyone out there is after a V10 M5, yours is totally the one to buy, so many will be on the edge of all whats happened to yours happening, patched off to pass off onto some unsuspecting punter or just on its way very soon, not many will be recently and comprehensively sorted. Its as safe as E60 M5 purchases get and worth paying a bit more for based on all the heartache and hassle you went through.

Best of luck and I look forward to your next purchase, just keep away from the Auto trader section called "Potential Money Pits and Lost Causes", No aging Maseratis or V12 Mercs wink

Cheers! I am in no rush to sell, and if I can juggle things around then I may not have to, but time will tell! It is definitely up there as one of the more sorted cars. Seeing what they're currently going for it's almost not worth selling.

Buy a W/S205 C63 and join the beef in what is an epic car with (from my ownership) no downsides.

Way faster
Vastly newer
I average 27mpg so far
Q car
Accessible power / not needing to be way over speed limits to enjoy all the engine has to give

Worth a consideration

“join the beef”

Love it, like our own version of David Hasslehoff, Bomber from Auf Weidersehen Pet or Dobby the House Elf !

XFR is where it’s at I reckon, at a lower budget than a C63,

There are a few engine issues on those if you google
That aside yes they are discreet and fast.

LOL, cheers. I don't want to sell it, but let's see. I still haven't put much effort into selling it yet. In fact I am currently trying to find someone to refurb my leather hehe

I've never heard anyone call a C63 a Q car. Yes it may be faster etc, but that open diff life would piss me off.

I do like the XFR, but I'd prefer the XFR-S!

I have heard similar, but I think it is mainly regarding the timing chain / guides.

Cheers. It'll probably never sell as I'll be asking too much for it..

Covered some 400 miles in at the weekend in comfort. I genuinely do not know why I would need anything faster for the driving I do. I am not of the og / llf type so dangerous driving is not one of my past times.

That guys an accident waiting to happen, in the name of 'content'. He needs some private land to show people's cars, not the a413 through South Bucks

Shame to hear it’s up for sale, they’re an epic thing but it’s only a car at the end of the day. I get a bit attached to stuff and a, nit very good at parting with stuff I really like.

I'm not trying very hard to sell it, but if someone makes the right offer it will go. I aren't prepared to take a big bath on it.

I have a C63S and it's boring, cannot recommend.

They have locking diffs though - C63 has a mechanical one and C63S has an e-diff with clutches.
