Ordering new wheels this week and have a buyer for my current ones.

Also been in touch with a brake company who are going to make some brackets for me so that I can use the f10 M5 calipers I have with the standard discs.

Ahhh that’s so annoying about the spoiler. Had the same with both front splitters over bought, both came with a tiny mark that not enough to warrant messing around and send back etc , but annoying all the same.

Hope you get some resolution from them, will look bloody ace when fitted cool

In about 3 years and £15k later when you’ve got a stroker kit for it you’ll be wondering how it all started!

What wheels you going for TAG? Must admit the comp pack ones look way better than I ever thought they would.

Yep, I saw the pics above and think they look immense on an E60. Something 'just right' about the look.

I managed to get a partial refund of around 8% so I'm not too unhappy about it. It can be touched in means I can have it fitted sooner rather than later and I don't have to mess around with sending it back etc.

I am looking forward to seeing what it looks like when fitted!

Haha, if I add power then it'll be supercharging. Stroker kits aren't worth the money for me.

I am getting Avant Garde M359s. The Comp pack wheels do look good, but, the offset is totally wrong. The standard offset on the Style 166's is ET12 for the fronts and ET28 for the rear. The wheels I am getting are ET15 and ET25. They're also slightly wider at 9J and 10J.

I do like them, but I also think they suit a darker coloured car better. I may even fit another splitter, but in black this time.

Go for a Graphite colour on the wheels as they'll suit your car colour also look for that style of wheel in a concave, as it'll really show the cars lines, as shown above.

The wheels will be gunmetal, graphite isn't an available option unfortunately.

Will be hiding my red 6 pots when they get fitted next year.

New wheels ordered! I've never bought new wheels before, always gone second hand or just kept the standard wheels!

Luckily I have a buyer for my style 166's which will offset the cost a fair bit.

These are the ones in this colour.

Stunning

Seriously considering these (or the Satin Black ones) for my E39 touring come the Spring

I really like the ride/handling of the OEM 17s; but 18s fill the arches so much better biggrin

Very nice! Dark wheels on a light colour car should work well. And they're a sort of CSL style so they're in theme too. smile

Yep, those look great, think the colour will work well with the silver too.

On in time for Christmas?

Do you know if the F10 piston sizes are the same as yours? You might do funny things to balance and pedal travel if not.

Cheers. I think they're modern enough but contemporary enough as well.

Yeah I reckon they will suit. I didn't want to go too dark, hoping for a nice balance.

I am hoping so, just depends when they arrive.

They're very similar. I know a few people who have run them on the E60 M5 and haven't experienced any pedal differences.

Has that spoiler been fitted yet?
