I’m loving the fact you created a thread for your fiesta, and when the haters came rolling in(as they do), you casually mic drop with an M3 and 350Z.
Fantastic work, inspiring commitment and I actually like where you’re going with the build.

Solid effort buddy!

Lot of work going into that, really shows in the engine bay.

Like the look of it on the cosworth wheels too.

Although i feel too old to drive it at 39 its still properly cool, love it and the workmanship going into it looks spot on. At 23 this is what people should be doing, not going to the pub every night on 'ticket' and achieving nothing in their lives ever.

Basically PistonHeads used to be a website about cars, gradually over the years its become a male version of mumsnet but with more bhing. Even i have been dumbed down now and really only read the off topic non car stuff hehe

Modified car: stupid, illegal and immoral.

Leased car or financed: can't afford it, keeping up with neighbours etc

Something like a ferrari or lambo: crap compared to one from 1968, has it been driven into halfords etc

Its quite odd really.

If all those mods are declared I was wondering which insurance company would insure it and at what sort of premium? (Sorry old fart mode on/)

Impressive work, Rule!

Your taste is different to mine (I'm 40-odd old timer so of a different Max Power generation to you), but if it's legal and safe, then I'll be enjoying seeing what you do next.

The interior particularly is very interesting. An escort dash in a Fiesta? Skillfully done. Any more pics?

Bravo for making something so unique to you, looking forward to the updates.
It’s a Escort cosworth dashboard, decided to go for the cosworth in particular because it has the arm rest / centre console that the standard escort doesn’t have.
Was a pain to source all the pieces, and the prices were a bit of a pain too lol.

Not many pictures unfortunately.
It just required a bit of trimming up the sides, and when I got it to fit it then just came straight back out as I haven’t come round to doing much of the interior, I just wanted to be sure it would fit.
It’s not complete by any means.

I have decided to go for a track interior instead, so it will be getting bucket seats, flat door cards, racing wheel, full roll cage, harnesses etc etc...

When it's finished will it be possible to see the car in the flesh?

Well I for one, am loving this thread and hope it continues. I've said this before, but being a car enthusiast is increasingly seen as anti-social in todays culture. We should be sticking together and protecting our rights to do what we love. We are all different, but ultimately, we have a common interest, there should be no place for animosity towards people with different views.

Keep it up Rule, do what you want, be your own person and fk everyone else. Ignore the old s on here, tragic keyboard warriors. Given the path your life has taken I don't blame you doing your own thing, please carry on as you were and don't forget the updates on here!

Finished for Ultimate Street Car maybe? wink

Thankyou for the kind words.

I’m not sure when it’ll be ready.
I don’t want to cut any corners to meet any deadlines, everything needs to be thought out properly and done properly, but fingers crossed it’ll be at least on all 4, and road worthy by the end of this year. smile

Another thing to remember OP, is that a lot of us read these posts but decline to comment if we have nothing interesting to add (something which simply wouldn't occur to some people on here)

I also probably wouldn't own this car, but I would certainly have a good look at it at a show and appreciate the work it takes to make it!

Keep updating........please!

I'm glad you've decided to keep posting. Again like a few others it's not the style I'm into, however I can definitely appreciate the amount and quality of the work you've put into it.

I'll take a thread like this over reading about another bloody M140 any day! Keep up the good work!

Built not bought, love it.

Although I did chuckle to my self when I saw the first pictures as I knew what the reaction from PH self appointed style police would be!

Little update.
Currently going through a house move so had to rush and piece the fiesta back together to get it moved.
I haven’t found a new property for my self, and couldn’t find any units available to rent, so had to no choice but to leave it on my grandads drive until something pops up.
But here’s the progress.

Stole my uncles old E46 M3 car cover :’)

Thanks for the update Rule, hope you can find somewhere soon. May I ask which steering wheel is in it as I can't quite place which Ford its come out of.
