Update time!

Since the last update in March a few things have happened.

First up, through a mutual contact, I was approached to do a feature on Mike Brewer's website for a series called "Me and My Classic". Just had to be interviewed and send in pictures which was good fun.

Next up, the rust: so it finally failed its MOT for the sills and I just did it. I got my usual guy to do it and it seems a good job and a great colour match!

It was worse than thought and 2 layers deep. He took some pics of the work as he went:

I don't actually have any pics of the finished job. But in some of the next pictures you may be able to see it. I did get a momento though for my £1500...

Next up. Did a big trip from the South up to Yorkshire to tour around seeing some family.

We packed it full of camping gear, bags and emergency tools. Had stuff strapped to the roll bar and everything, so it certainly felt slower! It also highlighted that the suspension can't handle that weight and it didn't like some of bumpy roads at all. On the smooth, flowing twisties it was brilliant. But i didn't push it.

Did 900 miles in 10 days and it didn't complain 1 bit.
