This thread was great, whatever happened with the golf clubs? Did you end up with a set?
Yeah, got the clubs. I've been playing for years so had no real need for them so put them on Gumtree

They were actually missing when I got the car, so Paddy, the powerfully built stair dominator that he is, had a courier deliver a brand new set to my house straight away. God knows what Paddy did to the car detailer that prepped the car...

Oh, and I didn't know Paddy shopped in sports direct. Still, beggars can't be choosers and I'm sure someone is enjoying hitting those slazenger golf clubs smile

Is it still in Ireland? I have been looking for an LS engine for some time and getting them from the US is expensive!
Yes, still in Ireland as my best guess.

Would you happen to have contact details of who you sold it to?
I don't unfortunately.

It was a friend pointed it out to me for sale, quite a while after I sold it. Can't remember the name of the garage to even check. It was about a 6 months or so after I sold it.

OP I had a 1961 GMC Apache and the strange vagueness of the steering was interesting at best. PS Iskra sold her Escalade during Covid as it wasn’t getting used.
I've just been through that section of the thread again, bringing back some good memories smile

It'll take me a couple of sessions to read back through it all but I got to the Escalade photos and my heart sank a bit, I can't lie.

I sort of wish I had of kept it now. Ok, I wasn't going to drive it much and would have had to tax and insure it etc, but for about £2 a day for that and the occasional tank of fuel, its not like it would have crippled the finances or anything.

I think my 8 year old daughter (at the time) might have been right after all...
