If you look at the pictures of it being built you can see it being lifted by the wheels.

I think you can do this with Admiral multicar, could be worth a call.

Might be a bit too specialist or unusual for admiral.
If your own insurer won’t mirror your NCB - you’ll have to cancel the existing policy to apply it to the PP truck or take the hit on zero ncb.

Or speak to the company which has agreed to insure the Caddy, and move the Volvo to them too?

That will explain why I have a combined 50 years of NCD on a multicar policy wink

Thanks all. Goof advice.

So AXA have now said I can have my no claim discount on both cars, but I have to remove my Dad. Wont let me have named drivers if I'm mirroring my NCD across 2 cars.

All in £700 for both cars. Volvo being £400.

Pity about my named driver bit though, my missus and my Dad are named drivers. Not the end of the world, they both have cars already.

Do admiral allow named drivers and dual cars?

AXA-NI insurance - you BEAUTY!!!!

£298!!!!!

If you see me walking around dressed like Neo from the Matrix - don't be surprised biggrin

Plan is:

Tax it
Insure it
Put it up for sale but drive it while I try to sell it*

  • I already drive a barge (Volvo V90) so if this thing drives ok - I may even keep it.
Will be interesting to see what kind of stereo is fitted. If stock, I might fit an Android system. Looking into it, you can get quite a good Android stereo with back up/front up cameras for not too much money - bring the car into the the more modern era. Stereo cassette players are standard in these I think so that'll never do - needs spotify and google maps as a minumum.
If you get an android one then make sure you get one of the newer ones with more memory, at least 4gb I would say, I had an older one with 1gb or 2gb (cant remember) and it got a bit laggy and was a bit annoying to use in the end for maps etc.

Yep, hoisted by the wheels by the looks of it, although the T&Cs state you get it in whatever condition its in after being removed, following the email they got they may just push it off the frame and let it drop and get some publicity out of it by delivering a lump of metal to the OP biggrintongue out

That’s a broken mk3, not the mk2 I was expecting as expressly detailed in the terms and conditions and I want COMPENSATION!
