One thing to watch without the clutch switch - I once reached in through the window to start my old 80 series not realising a friend had moved the truck slightly and left it in gear. Luckily it was parked facing an open field as the big straight six, with the help of the 24v starter, fired straight up and off it went! Thankfully I was able to jog alongside and switch it off with no harm done.
The number of times that has happened to me with vans... hehe

Yes the starting clutch button can be a pain , purchased another Landcruiser , arrived 6 months ago . Lead time aprox 9 months . Small price increase but uprated engine and dab radio , The white one had its first service £250 now got 11000 miles on , the black one 600 miles . planning on keeping both for some time great vehicles .

About to pull plug on a LWB Active. They don’t do the utility as a 5 seat now sadly. I have my eye on a set of steels to take it back down to earth! They hold their money well and I see Toyota have quietly dropped it off their website now. Prob last year of sales I reckon
