You have done a cracking job on the pair of them. Is the Scooby version finished now?
Still to try out on the track, goodness knows when and then few bits like rear windows to fit, I have left windows out as it makes getting to the engine so much easier. At some stage after track testing I will take the engine out and do the engine bay and paint engine etc.
I also want to get the wiring loom done, and also replace the engine loom with something simple.
Well at long last, one year later than planned but finally got the car on track ..
Due to selling my old trailer and awaiting replacement I had to drive it there which was interesting.
Car runs really well, goes and stops fine, no dramas at all so far but didn't push hard as I was on my own and no way of getting home if it broke, some reasonable pace for a first outing, suspension needs setting now and brakes bleeding plus the normal check over but all good.
I need to check again but car weighs 980kg which is a bit surprising and disappointing.
Passed noise test with ease at 94/97db
Sensible fuel consumption.
Turbo is a bit on off so needs to be kept on the boil which I'm not used too yet.
Gear selection a bit iffy so need to look at that as well.
Few pictures below.
Hoping to get out again in around a Months time and will report back.

Just a little update to keep the thread alive.
I took the car out a further 3 times in 2021, so 4 outings in all and getting quicker each time.
Took to a couple of local pub meets back in the summer just for a bit of fun.
Passenger seat fitted (see above)
Adjustable brake bias valve now fitted.
Car is currently having a complete wiring loom fitted to match the original car at Valoroso, and a bespoke engine loom to facilitate moving the ecu to inside the cabin.
Early days but will potentially race this year.
