Finally got the car back at home and can now start on all the good bits, Im hoping that the little one man bands I use will somehow stay open through these desperate times to come.

If not there is going to be a shortage of car cleaning equipment soon lol .....

A few pictures below just to give you guys some idea .......... and me some inspiration.

Crikey, is Malcolm still going?! Some of his prices were considered a bit comical at times back in the day by those in the club, but you couldn't argue with the availability and willingness to support (the owners club folk were notoriously tight!). Really regret disposing of my 4 headlight Sunbeam Imp Sport with 930cc engine and twin choke Weber....

He is indeed ......
Being relatively new to IMPs I’m not sure where prices should and shouldn’t be but he seems fair and like Demon Tweeks always has what you want and delivers within a couple of days.

Great work here fella, really enjoying this!

The power to weight of this is going to "interesting". Are you keeping the engine standard in tune/power output?

Im not completely sure what I have at present other than a fancy air filter and a pop off valve with some Samco hoses but believe its a fairly standard 220 ? bhp motor currently.
At present it also has a std ecu that you can do very little with, once its up and running the plan is to get Neal at Slowboy Racing the local Subaru expert to take a look and then once I have proved the concept works either replace or tune to around 300/350 bhp.

Looks great - love an Imp !!

There's a guy who built one with a mid mounted RS Turbo in it. Roadgoing and very well done. Have always tried to find out more info on it but never have. Looks like a very good conversion.

Hope you have fun in yours !
