Looks awesome.

Removing the chrome is a good live with the exterior colour and helps to tie very together.

The trim wrap inside looks ace, much cooler than carbon (I think I need to rewrap my interior trim now…). Good work on the underside of the car too.

Did you say you’ve sold the car?

Is this latest set of updates pre sale?

What’s next…?
I was just kidding buddy.
Don't get me wrong, everything has its price but doubt very much anyone would offer me enough to consider it.
Glad that you are keeping it - we get to see more pics!

Hey Gang, Back again...
Hope you're all having a great Christmas.. Mine is most certainly a Green one..

It's the perfect time of year to continue with those Modifications I've been planning for an age.
Fortunately for me, my Wife's all in favour of the project, so much infact that she's paid for the latest additions being that of the Bespoke steering wheel and gear Knob and Gaitor.

Removed and sent away to Royal Steering wheels a month ago, whilst they were being done I had the lettering of the floor mats restitched in an attempt to bring some Much needed colour into the cabin.

Once they were done it inspired me to carry on with that theme throughout.
Before I sent the steering wheel off, the paddle Shifters were removed so I could modify them a little. Using some of the touch up paint given to me from Golding barn garage, some cocktail sticks and a very steady hand, I painted the embossed lettering, it took 2 coats of base green, then a further 2 coats of pearl green to get the desired effect.

After several weeks of waiting, Xmas day finally came along with the much anticipated gift from my wife... The steering wheel and gaiter.
One thing I'll admit too is being a big kid getting excited about Xmas day, this was definitely up there with some of the best memories of all

1st up the Gaitor. Unwrapped and placed on the floor mats for a colour comparison..

Re trimmed in black Dynamica with lime green stitching, the coulour match is spot on.
The steering trimmed in the same finish, with some extra padding underneath to give better grip for my larger hands.

Next up, paddles and the trims fitted to reveal one of the best combined Modifications of the project, partly because the details are so small and they make the biggest impact.

So what's Next????
Once these are fitted I can then get started on removing the front/rear seatbelts as they are being changed to Black with Green stitching in the same colour code as the steering wheel.

I'll be back soon no doubt as I'm looking to get these fitted very soon

As always, thanks for the continued responses and interest in the project..

The undercarriage was very rewarding, the black brushed steel wrap now looks even better against the green accents, I'll be fitting it all this week, Another big reveal 😀 👍

Cheers guys,

So erm.. I did a thing 🤔.
Some time ago I ordered a set of paddle Shifter extensions for the car, totally forgot about them untill they arrived in the post today.

These are CNC machined black alloy, quality is actually far better than I thought, so I painted these too, now fitted to the wheel I'm kinda liking them tbh, so I'll see what they're like when the wheel goes on.. I may change my mind

Thanks again for continuing interest

The steering wheel looks great with the Alcantara and green stitching. We have the same wheel, standard leather though in our SLK 55 so has me wondering about a re trim!
Not so keen on the look of the paddle extenders, however if they help with gear change action then worth it. I sometimes feel I could do with extended paddles (same on slk 55) as I hold wheel at ten to two position and they sit a bit low (or short) for this position.

Thanks buddy

I've been holding off on the paddles for a while, wasn't sure if I'd like both looks and feel, but for £25 thought I'd take a look, worst case I'd just send them back. They do extend the width of the paddle they also extend at the bottom off the paddle tooso makes it easier to grab another gear when pulling out of a junctions etc.

Got most of it fitted on Thursday, it looks completely different inside the car, the steering wheel feels much better width the additional thickness.

Where did you get the extenders from ? I have the same wheel but my paddles differ in shape slightly as it’s a regular C204. Have seen lots for sale but seems like a good price, if they do a non C63 version

Hey buddy, I actually got them from ebay, however I can't say for sure if they are available for the non AMG variant.

I finally managed to fit the new Interior parts today
It's taken some time to get everything sorted but the finished results are worth the effort.

The mats are a combination of Diamond carmats and OEM mats, the floor section's were removed then stitched the OEM floor mats to the Diamond sides, then had the Logos restitched in Green

I've also removed the cargo net from the passenger side front and refixed it to the Diamond matting for a little more detail

Next up were the rear mats, these are done independently so the floor sections can be removed separately for general cleaning, the sides were cut away with new hemming to allow the OEM floor section's to sit neatly against them

Now installed, the bright Green logos can still be seen when the front seats are folded back into place , I know most people won't even see the rear sections but I'm pleased I took the time to do them

Gear Knob, Gaitor and steering wheel retrimmed in Dynamica with matching Green stitching to the mats, slightly thicker than Oem finish to suit my shovel size hands, now fitted it looks even better with the other trims and floor mats restitched

The OEM paddles and extensions I painted in the same colour as the car really pop inside the cabin, they look fantastic .
The extensions are CNC machined magnesium alloy with annodised black finish and Green painted symbols, these are very good quality, they fit perfectly and really go well with the rest of the black and silver trims inside

Taking a look at the new Interior, I still think that the W204 Interior is still one of the best to date, probably due to its simplicity and uncluttered design

I have a W205 C250 Amg line premium plus, the interior build quality and design is nowhere near as good.
Just goes to show.. They don't make them like they used to (as my Dad would say)

Sorry for the very late reply buddy.. it's been a headache.

Let's just say I had a moment of insanity.. one if which I'll not make again.
The car is back with me and the project it still ongoing.

Some new parts are arriving soon, I've also changed some of the exterior styling by removing the skirt extensions so it looks closer to an OEM car.

Hey buddy.
The quilted sections are from Diamond carmats,,they come as a whole set, so I cut the floor section's out and fitted and fitted the sides sections to the OEM mats.
