Audi 4.2 V8 in a 924.
Discussion
Accomplished some stuff on 924 4.2L Used some zip ties to put my Radiator in place to check all my clearances needed with my Large cooling fan and shroud. I might go with a different style, but will see. I will be getting a different AC condenser. The one I ordered in was no where near up to standards, Warped and bowed terrible. I also Pulled everything out of the car and took parts stock of everything and got rid of the junk parts that had be stored for no reason lol.
I will continue with the coolant system next. then the engine will come out and Oil pan fabrication will begin.

I honestly have not done anything super crazy on my swap lately. Been working a lot. But least got some of my wiring labelled for my instrument cluster! My Daughter helped me too lol.
Prior to work getting heavy. I Pulled the Engine out. got the FLywheel, CLutch and pressureplate fitted and engine back in, and added my 10AN Oil cooler ports to the block.
Finished off my headers for now too.
Hoping once we get our own home and work starts to settle down I have make more progress.

Our two builds (mine far simpler!) have had some similarities, I've just finished doing a load of wiring (albeit just re-routing / extended the factory harness) and have just plumbed in my 10AN oil cooler lines
Are you going to put a thermostat in line with the cooler so it doesn't delay the oil getting up to temperature? I used the Mishimoto one, it's a nicely made piece and the thermostat can be swapped out, it comes with an 85* one.
Great project anyway, all the best with home / work and project progress
Very good, glad you have made some progress as well! Are you going to put a thermostat in line with the cooler so it doesn't delay the oil getting up to temperature? I used the Mishimoto one, it's a nicely made piece and the thermostat can be swapped out, it comes with an 85* one.

I do plan on doing a inline thermostat. Looking at a couple different temp types. We get some warm temps here where we live. Over 110 degrees F. I was going to use one from Mocal since I get discounts from them.
Thank you on all three my friend! Looking forward to having a our own home soon.
My next goal of progress is getting a seconded bellhousing set up with the T/O bearing/slave cylinder.
Using a low profile Howe racing type.
