RE that black one above also; great to see that there are still some stock UK spec Supras around. Their value will only continue to appreciate!

A fellow Supra man, excellent, Looked like a tidy UK spec base to start, which in itself a challenge!

Updated

So I finally managed to get all the parts together for a four corner suspension refresh. Finding all the OEM parts has been a challenge with many hour spent studying part numbers as well as scouring the net to find them.

This was always going to a job that was a lot harder in reality than the seeming simplicity of a undoing a few bolts here and there and best left to the professionals.

Needless to say, its taken about double the time, lots more bolts and plates than anticipated and the inevitable of "whilst we are in there we might as well replace.......". Most of it is surface corrosion and the car actually drove very well. The irony might be it feels less good with all the new parts but at least they are nice to look at!

I've also managed to get the rattle cans out to clean up the exhaust and a few other bits. I must be high on fumes to spend all this time, money on energy on things no one will see but life would be boring without some car dramas along the way

Nice results and a real credit to you, from another UK6TT owner.

I’m sure for all the time and effort you put into it you are paid back in buckets with all the smiles it brings to you. smile

I hear what you are saying about about the long search for the correct UK parts, because I was recently surprised to learn even the fuel pump hanger is different on UK cars.

Yes UK cars seemed to be different in a lot of areas although most of the Supra parts catalog is interchangeable. Hope yours is being pampered too.

Starting to come together finally - too clean to be driven!

This looks interesting, OP, but for some reason the pictures do not display on my laptop. I am not sure what kind of Supra my late brother had in Canada in the late 90s, but think that it was quite a bazonkers one with one or more turbochargers. It was a manual. I drove it around Toronto once and it was super mega lairy. I assume an A80 car. It was very bulgy and flared and spoilered but had space in the back for two tiny children. It was AFAIK a standard Canadian issue car. I have a vague plan to seek out a similar car on sale in Ontario and give it to my nephew, formerly one of those tiny children, and now a sports journalist, but perhaps such a car would be stupid expensive by now.
