Looks like I’ll be collecting March’s car next weekend, I might actually switch it and cover this one in Feb!

You sir are getting addicted to car sales. I'm going to come back in a month and see " I'm off to collect Decembers car next week" laugh

I’ve always been better at buying them than selling hehe. Focus should be off to a new home by the end of the month though.

Took the Focus for another run tonight. Warning had cleared but came back at exactly the same bit of road as before, not after the same distance but at the same road making the same turn at a set of traffic lights..... scratchchin

Be interesting to see if it’s clear again when I go to work in it tomorrow morning

From the same shed school of mechanics as “turn the radio up to fix the suspension” ? biggrin

Focus update - it’s sold, sort of, awaiting collection.

Steering fault is a lot more intermittent than it was - this morning for example the warning was turning itself on and off which it doesn’t normally do. Cleared itself about 5 miles from work and has stayed off.... sure it’ll reappear on the drive home but I’m guessing we either have a moody replacement sensor or a fractured (but not broken) wire or solder joint somewhere that is making contact periodically.

I’ll be filming a wrap-up ramble about the the state of play and the car in general later today. Frustrated that the fault has now decided to present itself as weirdly intermittent but win some, lose some and all that.

Yes, £354. Not sure what I’ll do with my new found riches

hehe

I’ve broken my own rule with February’s car - it only has a couple of weeks MOT!

(Note the previous photo is now of March biggrin)

On the subject of Feb's car, I would be inclined to go with anything that has a 7" headlight... So maybe old and British, but may be anything else.

However, my vote is also Mk1 MX5.

Focus is off to pastures new tomorrow. Steering warning stays off for longer every time I drive it!

Well, the Focus went off to it's new home today. Can't say I'm all too bothered - I often miss cars that leave me, but the mk2 Focus leaves me a bit cold (as do Fords in general!)

I collected February's (actual) car today, too, but you'll need to wait a bit longer to see what glorious wonder awaits!

After watching his video his only clue was it was well within the £500 budget and its british. Surely has to be a rover/mg?
