A car a month for 2020. Idiocy but you love it.

Loving this thread, only just found it. The Rover was nice, the Mk1 has a much preferable nose and frankly it looks a million times better than the X-Type. I had a ZT-T 190 for a while, nice car once the VIS motors were sorted out.
The Rover has headed off to its new home today too - I’m sure it won’t be the last we’ll hear of it! Toaster Pilot said:
I’m going to give it to you for the correct guess of March’s wonderful machine but the “VW Polo” folks were close too
It’s a 1996 VW Golf (mk3) 1.9 TDi GL. It’s battered, bruised, rusty, damp, has no working locks and only one working electric window.
A fine example. Oh it’s Cat C too.
Amazing. My wife had one years ago, that thing had incredible fuel economy It’s a 1996 VW Golf (mk3) 1.9 TDi GL. It’s battered, bruised, rusty, damp, has no working locks and only one working electric window.

Drove it to work today. Radio has decided it’s not that keen on life (recurring theme it seems) and it engaged SDi mode at one point in the journey but a quick ignition cycle saw that off (and it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as a lot of other cars are in limp mode, to be fair)
Is it the sony radio that makes the bleep noise if you don't remove it when you get out the car?Toaster Pilot said:

Yup. I assume it’s aftermarket - is it not? Toaster Pilot said:
Golf now has 3/4 working electric windows. The one with the wood propping it up has had the motor and regulator removed though....
Motors look expensive so I think it’ll be getting a better fitting piece of wood!
Don’t listen to the haters, Mk3 Golfs are better than some give them credit for. Motors look expensive so I think it’ll be getting a better fitting piece of wood!
I replied on your FB page, hit me up when it’s time to let go of the Mk3 I’ll have it
