You'll always get knobhead keyboard warriors on the internet, who can absolutely be ignored unless they put forward a well-structured argument (which of course they won't, because they are knobhead keyboard warriors).

Keep up the good work, and don't let the bds grind you down!
thumbup - tbh they’re the least of my worries at the moment. This bd virus decimating the job market is the biggest pain in my arse right now!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm in the same boat (I work in IT, which I understand you do, too).

If I don't get a "proper" job/contract in the next couple of weeks, I'll be following you into a life of grocery deliveries. Deep joy.

Watched the new video last night. Got a proper chuckle from your stifled 'comment' about the battery hehe
Hours of fighting with awkward fasteners to reassemble the engine and a duff battery stands in the way of the first start! hehe

I've seen on other threads that PH have had a change of heart regarding Youtube videos and you can even embed them now - so can the oft-discussed videos be posted in this thread now?

It’s as clear as mud sadly - I still don’t think I’m allowed to link to them but I’m not sure about everyone else.

A change in the rules means it's now OK for you to go ahead, just make sure it's not overly commercial!

Looks like the RAV4 is off to a new home sooner than planned - I’m delivering it to a customer later this week! Bringing something home but it’s pretty bloody uninspiring even by my standards biggrin
Hope you will make at least one video before you deliver it to the new home, maybe a Hubnut style one wink

Fair play for the rule change mods, not personally majorly into youtube, much prefer words and photos but certainly as a means of getting content out there can't argue!

Don’t think this is quite what you had in mind but I’m going to try and film some on road action during the delivery journey!!

I would describe that interior fabric as "jazzy" smile

I've been watching your videos and my daughter now does a mean impression of your opening statement (which is something like, 'hello everyone, and welcome back to the channel'). She's nailed the accent and intonation.

Where are you from originally? Can't quite work it out. NE/Aberdeenshire or Borders?

Central belt - Alloa/Stirling.

My accent has been destroyed by years of working in international teams and needing to be understood laugh

Now that I didn't expect! My 3 children were born in Stirling so perhaps there's some appreciation there...

Toaster Pilot, last night after watching your video about the DeWalt impact wrench I bought one.

You influenced me.

You are officially a YouTube Influencer. biggrin

Everything’s a bit fked with the lockdown and stuff - I’m still working on the Rover/Fox and now have some electric bullst to occupy my time too

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Lack of work in my actual profession has lead to me taking temporary work as a home delivery driver for a food retailer so I’m working odd shifts and stuff leaving a lack of time for car tinkering frown.
