Ocado driver here since I lost this years's work in my industry due to CV19, just bought a 987 last night so it's not all doom and gloom.

Seeing this pop up in my list reminded me - I promised pics of the Rover on her hols!

Here it is at Elgol last week, looking over Loch Scavaig towards the Cuillin range (a lot of which you can't actually see for the cloud cover).

A beautiful motorway cruiser as expected. I couldn't believe how well the car coped with the roads north of Fort William though, handled the fast sweeping mountain/valley roads tremendously well. I would almost go so far as saying it was fun! A testament to all that money spent on the suspension over the years no doubt. Also soaked up the bumps on the rough single track roads on Skye effortlessly.

I'm toying with the idea of a micro-camper for these trips, but think I would miss the ride of the old bus.

Fear not, I’m still alive (just about). Still working the supermarket delivery gig, which has its moments...

90 minute wait for a mobile tyre fitter made for a great shift!

Returning to contract IT work next month at last. Planning on keeping a hand in though, doing a shift at the weekend to keep things open for the future.

Car stuff has massively taken the back burner - my modern 3 series is gone and I have a brilliant* very brown daily driver which I need to make a video about shortly.

Fox is taxed and in service at the moment! Again, really do need to get the finger out with the whole video thing.

Glad to see the 75 is doing its thing, that’s fuggin’ brilliant!!

Alright, it’s time to get back to it. At least back to producing videos on the (broken) ste I have - will be a bit less turnover for a while I think!

I’ve sent the charger off for someone to look at it. Might be some time though!

Yeah, I'll second that. Good honest video, and looking forward to more motoring mayhem soon.......but are you going to share some clues on the brown beast that's the new daily? scratchchindrivingbow

Hmmm, brown, early 2000's, 20mpg, complicated, cheap, unreliable.....

Not an LS430, too reliable.

Not a 4.0 Jeep, too simple.

Was thinking BMW 540, but not sure brown was the thing for these in early 2000's.

Think we need a clue!

(Good to see you back TP)

Brown wasn’t the thing for what I’ve got either biggrin

Not sure it’s terribly unreliable but the bork factor is definitely higher than usual! Not a Lexus, that’s far too sensible.

Think less naturally brown. You’ll rarely if ever have seen one in this colour combination.
