Love the write up and collection story. And stunning colour!
Thank you!Yes, I'm very fond of the colour - I really like blue cars and this one cleans up really well, changing colour in different lights.
Not that there's anything wrong with black/silver/grey ones, but I'm glad I was able to find one that was a bit different. I'm also partial to a guards red and speed yellow...

Just as an FYI - the clear tube to the left of the battery should be plugged into the battery breather on the left hand side of the battery case. I'm sure it makes no difference to anything but I can see it unplugged in the pic there!
Car looks great!
You're right - but the vent on the left is just a casting, the actual vent is on the other side of the battery, which of course the tube doesn't reach. Car looks great!
Maybe I could be more forceful with it...I'll investigate actually.
Regardless, I considered extending it before but read up a bit and decided it wasn't really worth it.

Annual service completed - just an oil and filter change this time alongside a few checks.
I was nervous as I didn't know about checking the filters for things when I did it last year, and had convinced myself I was going to find chunks of metal and/or plastic this time round.
I needn't have worried, a thorough inspection of the filter and oil revealed only a few micro specs of "stuff". I'll take that!
Had Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 in it before, but this time went for the Millers Nanodrive CFS 10w-50 NT+ given all the hype and Hartech recommendation.
And managed to drive the thing for a first time in a while. Forgot just how nice it was to drive.
Cracking cars, they really are!

Nothing much to report - car continues to run faultlessly and has just ticked over 94k. Plenty of life in the old girl, yet!
Got it registered on the Porsche Classic Register...
And gave it a nice clean
Unfortunately, the German wedding (the reason I bought the car in the first place) was cancelled for the 3rd time - seems they were about a month too early this time. Waiting to see when it gets rearranged for, hopefully I can take the car on a good road trip sometime soon.

Lovely looking car, glad to hear it's running well!
How much does it cost to sign up to Porsche Classic Register? I must enquire next time I'm picking up an expensive bit of plastic from my local dealer!

It's free I just e-mailed my local dealer and they sent back a form to fill out.
