Waiting for the EV. Probably going to be two years away.

Are the rear seats a fold down/take out jobbie? Any pics of the full load length?
They aren’t removable. Let me take a photo for you tomorrow
Here you go...

It has a 40:20:40 split, so you leave some seats up, all down or just the centre seat down. Seat backs are covered in rubber so look hard wearing

Very nice smile I really like the look of them, I’m based in Malvern, and have spotted quite a few convoys of them driving around.

I’ve been having a mess around with the configuration, I quite like a 90 with the white steel wheels!
Me too greetings from a fellow Malvernian!

The big floating body coloured square on the c-pillar, is that an option and can you spec it black or better still have a useable window there?

I don't think so? Having played on the configurator (lots) I cannot remove the panel. It's either body-coloured or you can add the external side-mounted gear carriers.

No, it is standard on the 110 and is always body colour. Behind it are structural parts of the body as well as the seat belt mount for row two seats - you can just see this on the image below

For the three door 90, it is an option to remove - if you click on:

https://www.landrover.co.uk/vehicles/defender/mode...

and then click on ‘90’ then you can see that car without.

I assume you’ve had the okay from JLR corporate affairs / media / marketing to post about “your” car on here? And they’ll approve any answers to questions?

I’m only asking because my employer would have a fit if anyone given the use of a pre-prod car posted about it on the internet (in fact there is a clause in the agreement forbidding it).

Not having a go, just don’t want you to lose your job.
Thanks. This isn’t a ‘Prototype’ so not an issue to show it.
A few of my mates have been driving about in them for a while in prototype form but now have them as company cars for a bit. All over their social media now so I'm guessing LR like the publicity now all their Range Rover sports have been given back hehe

I really didn't like them at first but after spending a bit of time in them I think they're great!

When will the first customer deliveries be for the UK?

I have a full fat RR which is coming off lease soon and would like one of these but am unsure as to how I'd bridge the gap in timeline.

Cheers for the explanation, so the only options to conceal it apart from those boxes on the side are either order black or get someone to add some vinyl to the panels as to be honest it looks a bit out of place in my opinion.

Sorry but its not a defender, its just anothera car they are making and using the name of a popular icon.

Same as the Discovery is no longer a discovery.

Everyone falling into the Land Rover trance and dont realise all they make now are different size evoques, and they come in several different sizes!!

Having owned a Tomb Raider Defender, 3 Range Rovers and 2 Discoveries (as well as a couple of freelanders in my younger years) I can confidently say I will never buy a new model land rover in the future based on the direction of the brand.

100% they are as they really dont give a F*** about the customer that was made clear when I complained about the 22 times my 63 plate HSE Luxury Discovery went in for problems in 9 months. It was more than clear. But what should of I expected for a car I paid almost 70k for!
