A companion for my Lego Defender....

Sorry to hear about the CV. Hopefully all is well now? Frightening times.
Thanks. Yes, it was a really horrible and scary few days. Never want to go through it again, and wouldn’t wish it on anyone!
Feeling much better now, but get breathless very easily. Think my lungs will take a while to clear up.
Sad day today - The time had come to hand my Defender back...
It had done pretty much bang on 7,500 miles - very low mileage compared to my normal, but this hasn't been a normal year...
I've genuinely loved the thing. It never failed to impress - on road is was quiet and smooth riding, and off road it was absolutely brilliant. Mine was only a D200, and whilst it was not the quickest thing on the road, it never felt ponderous at all.
As a car to live with, I'd have been very, very happy to have kept it - Masses of space, both for passengers and luggage, van like with the seats folded, and obviously a great tow vehicle (my little tip trailer looked a bit ridiculous behind it though!).
I was lucky to be able to swap for another Defender - this time a 21MY 90 with the D250 (6-cylinder) on coil springs. Such a cool shape. Passenger space is identical, albeit row 2 passengers need to climb through the (huge) front doors, but clearly a much smaller loadspace.
I'm loathe to start a new thread on it, because I'm not sure I can be doing with the constant negativity from a certain poster on here... Genuinely don't understand his motivations and just find it all a bit energy sapping
I'd love an 'ignore user' button...
If anyone does want to know more about the 90, I'll do my best to answer though
