Interested to know what tyres this car is running?
As you may well know the Kumho tyres did not hold up on the second lap of the ring viper! The low profile sidewall gave out putting the car into the armco barriers.
With all that extra power I would be worried about tyres.
R888. As it is used for half mile and roll racing, it does not sit at sustained high speeds. Possibly there may be a change to a drag racing tyre for the next 3000bhp runs.As you may well know the Kumho tyres did not hold up on the second lap of the ring viper! Falcon, when I was a kid in Nz, late 70’s my old man has Monaro and Falcoon GTHO, would have been 75. When I was 13 he had a Fairlane 351 cu. for a limo in its day it punched like a mule. He used to buy cars from the Easter Show in Auckland. Had a charger too
Edited to say it might have been an LTD I can’t remember. Too long ago
