Regarding perfromance and dragy times. They dont even bother measuring 0-60, 0-124 etc. You race, you win or lose.

But i did make them put a Dragy in. From from what i recall at 1980whp-

qtr mile is 8.7 at 175mph. Slowish qtr as not launched hard off the line but with good trap speed. Any decently fast car would have it off the line and for first 100meters and then it's good night. I am sure with a qtr mile setup it would run high 7s easily.

Half mile is where it's at. I think this was 13 point something secs at 218mph the day after it was built. Again not launching it, just drive off fast.

Roll racing is also another good indicator That is come through the staging area at around 60mph get green light and hold on. I think track is around 1400 feet or 487 metres once through the light. In 2019 did multiple runs at 198mph in around 9seconds. Had more in it but a rod decided it was not strong enough.

In March 2020 we managed 204mph in around 8.7secs as 2100whp due to some new stronger rods, bigger turbos and billet block. of course 5th gear broke. The Vipers are fastest RWD cars but the best UGR Lambo did 230smokin

Gearing is set for max 235mph.

I recall 0 to 62mph is 2.5 but that is not launching hard as the Motec decides how much power based on grip. So just as fast on the pump fuel as C16 at these speeds as full power woudl rexult in wheelpsin all day. 0-124 is around 4.5 and then onto 175 in 8.5. I think we saw 0-186 in 9.5. The massive rear wing both helps and hinders at those speeds. good for stability and putting power down but also creates drag.

The Motec shows that all 2000whp is deployed in 3rd gear. Less in 1st and 2nd but I do recall 1500 ft lbs torque in 2nd. It really allows the car to work with this power. In a split second the Motec works out grip levels and goes from there.

Another photo for your viewing pleasure.

When you get up close to them you realise they are not that big!

Fellow at work owns one, not as mad as your one, although it is converted to right hand drive.

NIce. They are small actually. Look big in pictures but not in reality. I thought about RHD conversion. Maybe a later job when I bring it over to Europe.

I’ve never really got the love for the Dodge Viper but this thing is mega. Keep us posted with its progress.

Wow what a monster. Amazing you can get that sort of power down. I though mine was fast but yours is in a different league!

As i mentioned in an earlier post the car is in US and I am mainly in Cyprus.

The agreement is that the engine builder uses it and can also use it as a development mule. The breakage of a rod for example was unexpected as it was the first car with a stroker kit on the 2000whp package.

Latest news is that due to the breakage of 5th gear, we will go billet transmission. Also a bit more hp as clearly not enough.

Remember the numbers mentioned are whp not engine power.

So next stage is 2600whp on C16 and 2100 on E85 for street use. I wont say daily use as that is ridiculous.

That will be a combo of custom stonger rods, pistons and of course bigger turbos. PT 8685 rated at 1500bhp each or 8891.

TBH you had my attention at Viper ACR, the rest is just icing on the cake!

Except this cake seems to be all icing and a small amount of cake haha.

Great build, reading through the spec it's clear your builder knows their stuff.
Especially with the boost by gear that's absolutely essential.

What loss are you attributing to the trannie...just wondering about engine power?

They reckon from engine dyno to rolling road on their 1600 kit about 13%.

Yes

Sometime in the future when you get her shipped to Europe

Shipped to Athens, do the run, set a record that will possibly never be bettered and then onwards to Cyprus or wherever

Joking apart, she's stunning

Enjoy, thanks for sharing a little of her here

0-186 in 9.5 seconds. I firmly believe you don’t need a fast car to have fun - but that must be insane!

I don't think i will bring it to Cyprus for at least another 2 years. See how it goes at circa 3000bhp and if we can crack over 230mph in the half mile. Don't believe I am writing that, given that my Subaru at 520 was so fast and should be really fast @ circa 700. I will see if we can organise a trip to US this year but I doubt that given the situation in US.

I will. Let me have a look. Some in car footage of half mile runs somewhere. Not on phone so either laptop or with engine builder. I am not allowed to drive it at events such as half mile or tx2k in the US as don't have US licence and need a motorsport licence of some sort. Been a passenger at full power on race fuel.Think warp factor 9. Internals get left behind. I am a fan of rollercoasters and will continually hop off and go around and line up again for a thrill. The Viper is way more intense.

No you dont. But it looks like my garage is going toward a standard of 500bhp/tonne with both Subaru's heading that way and the Mono already there. Although Viper will skew that dramatically.
