Not sure if you saw but your truck made it in to the opening snippet of the vid on the Adventure Overland FC page, it stands out nicely with that orange cab and recognised it instantly.

Would you recommend the show? Looking at kitting out our defender for some adventures and saw they've got another show coming up in September.

Coool. Thanks, and no I didn't know that. Might have to use that somewhere....

Yes I would recommend the show. There's a ton of trucks, but also loads of 4x4's - more RTT than you can imagine, trailers etc. And after the success of the June one it might even be better.

Hope the feedback is received as constructive, that video is unwatchable. You can barely hear what you are saying and the music is either blasting or overlayed too loud. Recut it mate, drop the music, keep it simple.

The audio on that one is not good.
Good to see you are still making progress, it has been a bit of a gap since your last video.

I was wincing as you drove up the lane, looks like a lovely location though.

I gave up after 3 mins - initially cranking the volume up to hear what's being said worked until I was then blasted out by music - so it didn't didn't work for me either

Thanks for all the feedback on the audio. Totally agree. There was an issue with the mic in the initial piece, and then for some reason (problem in chair, not in computer) the audio track moved and came in at 100% not 50%.

It does sort itself after that, so if you stuck with it, it does get better, but I agree. The audio on this at the beginning is b*ll*cks. 4/10 must try harder biggrin

Yeah, it's a bit tight now the trees are in full leaf. You have to place her right. However I like to see it as a good practice biggrin

Hello all, been a bit. Lots going on but it's all good.
Latest vlog out here:

Should be another one along soon including (I hope) the 1,000 subscriber special, where I'm bound to give something away in a Competition. Talking of which, someone won the Martini Porsche Racing baseball cap but never sent me their details. I'm sure it was someone off here.

Pics coming for those who don't YT. In the meantime here's a taster.

Cab interior is starting to look good. The chap fitting the carpet is making a neat job of it.

He is and I'm lucky to get him. He's a good mate and he's done half a dozen VWt4 & 5 builds. He's making way better a job at it than I am.
Meanwhile I was off camera sticking the dodomat to the doors and making brews.

Thanks both. Like I said in the video, it took a bit to get here and sometimes I was losing the drive. So I'm grateful to the Pistonheads folks helping me along, that support was invaluable, so thanks for the help getting to 1,000 subs.

I’ve watched the latest video and it’s looking great! Personally I think the spot lights look better in the down position and finish off the front nicely.

Looking forward to seeing how the interior progresses!
