All cars should have twin headlights.

A Lotus Esprit wins at car because it has twin headlights that are also pop up headlights. I cannot afford a Lotus Esprit.

Bond ruined them though, you will always have some smart arse(me) asking if it can drive underwater

The fiat is definitely the best looking of your old cars, I think its the twin headlamps
I am torn between the Beta coupe and the Fiat. Both v appealing to look at. The Lancia better proportioned I think and looks more grown up, especially in that molto sofisticato bronze colour. Perhaps slightly too refined if anything.

The Fiat is a bit less slick and not quite so well balanced in styling terms. But it looks like it means business more than the Beta. Totally up for any B road argy bargey you could throw at it.

It is still a real toss up which of the two is the better drive. The Beta is smoother, quieter (although still quite noisy), more refined, and has steering that doesn't wobble about, but the Fiat has real grunty go go ness and is quicker off the mark and at the top end. A forthcoming tyre upgrade for the Beta may alter things a bit.

Fiat wipers were on the bork yesterday, and not because of ice AFAIK.

Same here, a work mate had one back in the late 70s going a bit scabby on the sills, but just a great car. Always loved the dash on the 124.
I like the Beta coupe almost as much.
About 5 years ago I had a choice of buying either a lhd 124 coupe or a lhd Fulvia series 2 coupe, couldn't resist the Fulvia, I'd owned a series 1 Fulvia some years before, so felt comfortable with the choice, but feel very good about either of the 3 cars.

I have missed the boat on Fulvia Coupe prices, alas. I would love a Flavia Coupe, but rare and also spenner.

The Lancia and the FIAT meet secretly for a dance.
